Are you feeling the effects of the exercises that we talked about earlier on? Well, you better because now I am going to take things a little deeper, a little crazier…are you ready to go all in?!</p>
<p><strong>Affirmations</strong></p>
<p>Affirmations, what are the? Well as described on Wikipedia for an example “an affirmation is a declaration of something that is true”. And as I would describe it, its a way of re programming yourself by continuously “saying something” out loud and in such a concentrated and intense way that it sinks in to your subconscious and becomes your new reality, replacing your old (worthless) reality.<br>
The ancient Greek Soldiers were already known for using affirmations to strengthen their belief in victory and kill any anxiety they might have and even todays military uses affirmations to cultivate a new belief system into peoples subconscious…recognize this phrase:</p>
<p>“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.”</p>
<p>This is part of an affirmation that todays military uses, not to eliminate Approach Anxiety, but to eliminate the “oh shit, I might die” anxiety!</p>
<p>So how can you use this knowledge to your advantage and how can you use this to get “in to state”?</p>
<p>Well, first of all, I suggest you write a one-page document with positive statements. Statements that would be true about you if you were actually “in state” statements that would seem to be YOU in the most perfect way that you can come up with. These statements could be as following:</p>
<p>- I Feel GREAT!<br>
- I am HAPPY!<br>
- I LOVE LIFE!<br>
- I Feel FIT!<br>
- I Feel AWESOME!<br>
- Women LOVE me!<br>
- I LOVE myself!<br>
- I feel FANTASTIC!<br>
- I AM READY TO GO OUT!<br>
- I feel AWAKE!<br>
- I Feel ENERGISED!<br>
- I FEEL POWERFULL!<br>
- I Feel SEXY!!!!!<br>
- I…FEEL…like I am…RE…BORN!</p>
<p>Etc. Etc. Then just print this out and you will have your list of Affirmations.<br>
Now you can look in the mirror and look yourself in the eyes with a big smile on your face, or you can choose to close your eyes and concentrate on what you’re going to “affirm” to yourself.</p>
<p>Now, read that what you have written out loud. Read with a loud volume or with a lower volume if you want, but make sure you do it with all the intensity that you can bring up from inside so that you will actually start to FEEL that what you are saying to yourself.</p>
<p>So don’t do this with an incredibly boring voice. Make sure you “act” alive and say these affirmations with passion, as if you mean it and hey…you can even back it up with some physical movements! Ball your fists, stomp your foot on the ground, wave your hands through the air, whatever! It might feel a bit dorky, but who cares! YOU are the one getting into state by yourself, no one is watching you…and it’s all about YOU! And about YOU feeling AMAZING!</p>
<p>So, in the beginning you will feel a bit weird doing it and the effects wont be as good as they could be, but within no time you will get better and better at it and you will notice how easy it is to get in to state.</p>
<p><strong>Positive Thinking/BIG Thinking</strong></p>
<p>Another change in mindset that I would like to bring under your attention is “positive &amp; BIG thinking”.</p>
<p>A lot of people out there, and maybe you are one of them, seem to come up with 1001 negative things about…well, anything! Lets take something easy, like “making an approach”. If you can come up with ALL these reasons why you shouldn’t approach you are basically killing your own state and the want you have to take action and start approaching! And that’s just the thing, because in our heads we seem to come with more negative shit than positive things that you can associate with something as “making an approach”.</p>
<p>But why not think about things in a more positive way? Why not think about the BIG picture here!</p>
<p>Instead of thinking about all the things that might go wrong for you…think about all the things that might go AMAZING!</p>
<p>Think about what a great opportunity you have to meet this new woman for an example, and how much value you bring in to the interaction that you are going to start! Think about how this lady might be one of the coolest people you might ever get to talk to!<br>
Think about the BIG picture here and think about how this approach might be the start of a great relationship! Think about how this approach will bring you a lot of amazing sex! Think about how this woman that you are going to talk to might be totally into threesomes and how she will bring her extremely hot looking lady friends in to bed with you!</p>
<p>Whatever you can think of!</p>
<p>Think about the most fantastic things that you can and associate more POSITIVE things to making an approach and don’t even think about the negative ones!</p>
<p>I am just talking about the “approaching” example here, but you can do this with literally any decision that you will have to make in your life. But lets take one more “Game” related topic.</p>
<p>“Going for the kiss” for an example. A lot of men out there don’t dare to go in for the kiss because they think about all the things that might go wrong.<br>
I say STOP DOING THAT! There are way more positive things than negative ones that you could associate with “Going for the kiss”.</p>
<p>Think about how amazing it would be if she would kiss you back!<br>
Think about how good it would feel to kiss her!<br>
Think about how this kiss could lead to a B.J. !<br>
Think about how this kiss could lead to a 3 way kiss because of her jealous girl friend wants a piece of the action!<br>
Think about how this kiss will help you build comfort with her…with all the amazing things that might happen afterwards!</p>
<p>“But Rick, what if she doesn’t kiss me back?”</p>
<p>Well…THAT’S EVEN BETTER!!!</p>
<p>Now you have learnt something [insert all the learning points you can think of to make it as valuable as possible], and that’s something amazing!</p>
<p>And you know what (and this is just me thinking BIG here) because you are not like other guys that retreat with their tails between their legs after being refused a kiss…you stay in the set, let her get used to the idea that you are going to kiss her, build a little more comfort…and you try again a little later…and now you have shown her that you are an actual man that she can trust not to run away after something silly…and you have just opened your way to a possible FULL CLOSE that same night!</p>
<p>HOW AMAZING IS THAT!?!?</p>
<p>See, positivity and big thinking will certainly help you in all kinds of situations! So I suggest you cultivate the habit of “Thinking positive…and thinking big”. Use the rest of the tips and tricks I spoke of in this part and my earlier writings about “State management” and you will always be able to…BE – IN – STATE !</p>
<p>So for the guys out there that really feel they need a state changing experience, I challenge you to take action and try the things that I have talked about…and commit to doing this and sticking with this for 3 months…only 3 months my friend!<br>
Because you will FEEL the difference and you will notice the way that people respond differently to you! So, don’t do this for one 1 week, no stick to it, commit to it, its your life that your working on and isn’t your life worth a time investment of only 3 months?</p>
<p>Remember to think BIG about this…think about all the possible positive things that will come from sticking to this for 3 months!</p>

There are two parts to this awesome model for inner game, represented by a Yin-Yan. Today we are talking about the Yan or flame. Now, if you haven’t read about the Zen of Cool in&nbsp;Revelation, I would highly recommend you do, but here is a definition of the Yan in case you haven’t (or don’t remember).</p>
<p><strong>The Yan is like being a flame who shines with such fun and positive energy that people are drawn in by their own desire for its warmth.</strong></p>
<p>Read that definition one more time and memorize because it is a key characteristic of an attractive man. Now, the next question is how to do that. Here we are talking about inner game so we are going to focus on creating the attitudes and emotions that naturally lead to you acting this way. This will complement you outer game, giving you something to rely on if you run out of material and generally help you on your journey to become a naturally sexy guy – meaning you don’t have to think about what to do to be sexy, it just happens because you’ve genuinely transformed yourself.</p>
<p>First things first –get yourself into a great mood. As <a href="http://www.venusianarts.com/matador/" class="kblinker" title="More about matador »">Matador</a> teaches, people can identify your current emotional state. If you’re in a great mood, strangers will be naturally attracted because emotions are contagious. In other words, your good mood radiates out good feelings and everyone wants to feel good, so they are drawn in by your vibe. (This is just another way of describing what we at Venusian Arts call the flame.) Now, on the other hand, if you’re in a bad mood, you give people bad feelings, which everyone wants to avoid, so they will naturally be repelled by you.</p>
<p>Simply put,</p>
<p>being in a great mood = hooking the set<br>
?being in a bad mood = getting blown out</p>
<p>Let’s get down to tactics. These are things you should do before you go out, to help get yourself in a great mood. There are two things we going to use to achieve this. They are what you do with your body and what you focus on with your mind.</p>
<p>Imagine how you would move your body if you were in an amazing mood and then move that way. Walk the way you would walk if you felt amazing. Gesture the way you would gesture if you were in a great mood. Carry yourself like you just got a blow job from the hottest girl in the world, etc. More specifically, smile <img src="http://www.venusianarts.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" class="wp-smiley">  …even if you don’t want to smile. Just hold a smile on your face the entire time you’re getting ready to go out, on your way to the venue, and at venue when you’re not in set. Make smiling a habit, this really works! Try it! You see, not only does your face show what you feel. You also feel what you show, if you keep a smile plastered on your face as mentioned above, it will actually make you feel happier –same thing for how you move your body. Similarly, if you like to dance, put some great music on and dance when you’re getting ready.</p>
<p>Now, the other major thing that effects the way you feel is what you focus on with your mind. One easy way to direct your focus is by watching a video clip or listening to a song (or play list) that naturally puts you into a useful mood for pick-up. For example, Matador has this clip of Kid Rock just killin’ it live that he watches and when you see it, you just feel like a rock star – it’s really awesome. But… it doesn’t have to be that, it could be anything, as long as it puts you into an awesome mood that is useful for being social.<br>
Another important part of you emotional state is to be talkative. Now, this one is easy, just talk! Do think about what you are saying; just keep those words coming out. Practice your delivery on some routines you now, call a friend, talk with your pivot, talk with your wing, etc. etc. Next, when you get to the club or on your way there, do three warm up sets.</p>
<p>Follow the guide lines above and you should be in a better state of mind when you go out and practice. This will make you naturally more attractive, independent of your routines, how you are dressed or anything else. More importantly, you’ll have more fun! Think about what you’ve read, post comments or questions and give it a try.</p>

Because now you will hopefully be ready for the Mental Tools I am going to talk about. I can actually talk about this for hours and hours, but I will try to stick with that what matters to the point that I am trying to make: in order to “get in to state” you will have to have ”control your mind”.</p>
<p>(What the hell does that mean?!)</p>
<p>What I mean is that you are obviously supposed to have the same mental powers as a Jedi Master…duh!</p>
<p>Nah, but seriously, in this case I mean that you will have to be able to create certain thoughts in your head that go with a certain state that you would like to experience ON DEMAND and create them in such a way that you will eventually start to FEEL the sensations that come with the thoughts that you are having…and so…you will get in to a certain state!</p>
<p>So, you want to get in to state for sarging, right? You want to be able to say “HELL YEAH!” whenever, like even when your half asleep on bed after a long day of boredom, then jump out of bed to shit, shower, shave and suit up and to get your lazy ass out there, am I right?</p>
<p>Now, this is exactly the point where most people just go “nah…I’m toooo tired…I’m going to stay here and not do anything”. Where as a person who can control himself and takes action on things does the exact opposite. He gets his tired ass out of bed, starts doing certain mental tricks…and gets in to state! Now, as you might notice, this asks a little extra energy from you…energy that you get when WORKING OUT! So you see that these two things kind of work together.</p>
<p>So, am I going to just jump out of bed and just get into state…just like that? Is it really that simple?!</p>
<p>Well, once you know what to do and what works it is yeah!</p>
<p>So I am going to share a couple very underground and secret techniques with you. These are certain techniques that the ancient Spartans used right before going to war, and also some other techniques that I have learnt from a very wise Chinese Mind Master…(That’s a guy from China who masters the mind).</p>
<p>Well, it sounded kinda cool right…</p>
<p>Anyways, “what to do”.</p>
<p><strong>Visualizations</strong></p>
<p>If you are able to come up with all these magnificent “thoughts” your physiology will start to work with you. Like, have you ever noticed how “thinking” about something funny puts a smile on your face? Or conversely, ever noticed how having a smile on your face gives you a good sensation inside?</p>
<p>You know what, lets do this exercise right now so that you will actually experience what I am talking about, while I am actually talking about it. And dude, seriously make an effort ok? Don’t procrastinate here…if you can’t even do this right now…how will you ever be able to do it when it really matters!?</p>
<p>So, if you could THINK…now… about the last time that you were with your friends and something funny happened…you laughed your asses off so hard it felt like a serious sit up exercise because your stomach muscles hurt afterwards…think about it…what happened…what made you guys laugh…who were there…can you see the people around you…can you see them laughing with you…are you able to experience that what happened again…in your thoughts…?</p>
<p>OK, back to “the now” what happened to you? Did you get a smile going on your face? What did you feel inside? Did you feel those funny and happy emotions just like you felt them when it actually happened the first time? How do you feel right now? Do you feel good? Happy? Do you feel positive emotions?</p>
<p>I bet you do!</p>
<p>It’s as simple as that!</p>
<p>Thinking a happy thought puts a smile on your face, a smile on your face gives you good feelings inside. So you would like to visualize certain things that in the end gives you exactly those feelings that suit you the best at certain times.</p>
<p>Another example, lets say you have a day-two with a nice looking lady, you have something intimate planned and you want to make it all “sexy”. What I suggest you do is that you then…visualize…being “that sexy guy” who is standing in front of all these beautiful women, the kind of women who are exactly your taste…just imagine how they are all checking you out…looking at you with a cheeky and sensual smile on their face…can you see them…they all want you…and they are all sensually touching each other…</p>
<p><strong>Music</strong></p>
<p>And you know what?! You can even put on a song to enforce the mental projection, lets take “Sexual healing by Marvin Gaye” for the sake of this writing. But you can take any song that you like of course, any song that you associate with that specific mental state that you are trying to get into.</p>
<p>Now go “MENTAL” on yourself, make sure you experience it as real and powerful as possible!</p>
<p>What happens with your state right now? Are you not starting to feel like “Rico Suave” when you go through this? This his how it works man! Mental projections accompanied with a certain type of music…do wonders!</p>
<p>To give you a personal example about music, I put this CD together called “The Rick Dutch’ Sexy as Hell CD” filled with songs that remind me of times that I was “getting down on it” with a lovely lady and other songs that get me into this perfect state for having a day 2 with a girl, and my day-two’s are sexy as hell, believe me!<br>
So while driving over to pick her up, I have this CD playing all these sexy songs, already getting me into a certain state…it works perfectly!<br>
Even afterwards, when talking to the girl at her place or in a restaurant, she might be telling me something about how she loves window-shopping and in my mind I am going:</p>
<p>“Freak me baby…let me lick you up and down…until you say stop! Let me play with you’re body baby make you real hot!” well you get the point.</p>
<p>Anyways, visualize certain states, visualize about times you were in certain states, visualize you being surrounded by a harem of the most beautiful girls in the world, visualize exactly that what is needed to get in to a certain state that works for you in a certain situation!</p>
<p>Now I know that not everyone can just as easily “visualize” as other people, and so I have another thing that might help you with visualizing.</p>
<p><strong>Vision Board/Vision Movie</strong></p>
<p>Some people just really need to see the actual projected pictures, if you are such a person or would just like to use every tool you can to get yourself up there, I strongly suggest you make a “Vision Board” or a “Vision Movie”.<br>
And this is really simple, it sounds very magical but it really isn’t, its just something to help you actually “see” the pictures and to really get in to it.</p>
<p>Basically what you do is take a large, flat piece of cardboard. Then you either print out pictures or cut certain pictures out of magazines that have to do with a certain particular state or mindset that you would like to get in to, and then you stick them on that piece of cardboard until its all filled up with pictures that will help you get into a certain mindset or state.</p>
<p>And there you have it…your Vision Board!</p>
<p>Now all you have to do with this, to get in to state…is LOOK at it…by looking at these pictures you will “visualize” and start to feel a certain drive, certain emotions will pop up inside of you and so this might well help you get in to state.</p>
<p>You could also make a Vision Movie if you have the software to do so.</p>
<p>You can make a movie filled with certain pictures that will get you in to a certain state AND you can even add music to it, music that represents a certain state for you.<br>
Fill it with pictures of you and your friends having fun, pictures of you with ladies, pictures of girls that get you all heated up, anything that you can think of! So then you could watch that movie while getting ready to go out and have fun for an example, accompanied by the music…and voila! A recipe for getting in to state successfully!</p>
<p>So this was my little talk about visualizations, I hope it has inspired you to take action on things…and you know what, if you made your vision board or vision movie, send me a picture of it, or send me a link if you have put it on line, I would love to check it out and see what you made of it! 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>It&#39;s the last hour before you head out. It is familiar for all of us whether we were aware or not. It is basically the last few preperations before heading out to that target rich venue in to what is expected to be a great night. This does not include the usual such as showering, shaving, picking out outfits, etc. This is what you do in the last hour before you role. Before we do head out, we have to prepare ourselves on all levels so that we can present our best selves. So what areas must we work on in order to accomplish this, well here are the most important ones:&nbsp;</p>
<p>Get into a talkative state: This is extremely important because if you are not in a talkative state by the time you arrive at the venue, you are simply wasting precious time that you could have put to more beneficial use. There are 2 ways that I recommend that guys approach this objective.</p>
<p>If you with your buddies run your material on them: Practicing your routines and gambits on the guys that you&rsquo;re going out with is a great way to get into a talkative state. It actually serves as a multi-purpose drill because not only will you get into a talkative state but you will also get feedback on your delivery and tonality. If you&rsquo;re by yourself, call a friend, parents, uncle, etc and talk to them about their day: This is also a great way to get into a talkative state if you are sarging by yourself. By calling someone you get to talk to someone you are comfortable with and as a result you will get into a talkative state.</p>
<p>Run through your cheat sheet and stack cards: This is extremely important so that the information you have is fresh in your head. Nothing spoils a set more than when you are in it and run out of things to say. As result, you are left lingering there and it lowers your value. Ideally, you should go through your cheat sheet and stack cards twice. Why not even three times. The more you familiarize yourself with your material the better it will sound. Just avoid sounding robotic in your delivery; this could also ruin a set.</p>
<p>Have your default opener memorized: We have all been there, we see a set and then&hellip;&hellip;NOTHING! We didn&rsquo;t follow the 3-second rule and walk up to the set because we had nothing to say. It&rsquo;s a feeling every guy feels. Some of us turn our bodies away from the set (DLV), some walk past it or hover (DLV), and some blank out and can not think of anything to say. By having a default opener you can assure that this will not happen to you. Also it becomes useful when situations present themselves to you and you need a quick opener to get things rolling. Run your opener smoothly and persistently and you will become a master at it.</p>
<p>Smile for 3 mins straight: When you smile you feel better. This is due to the endorphins that your body releases when you are smiling. By keeping a smile (even a fake smile), your body will flush itself with endorphins and get you in a great mood. It is important to get into that happy and carefree state of mind before walking into the venue. By smiling in your power hour, you will walk into the venue with the biggest smile.</p>
<p>Breathing exercises: Nothing relaxes the body more than simple breathing exercises. Most people underestimate the power of breathing exercises due to the action being so mundane and familiar. Practice breathing in fully from the nose, then hold your breath to the mental count of 4, and finally release your breathe slowly through your mouth. Repeat 4 more times or until you feel relaxed.</p>
<p>20 push ups: Push ups are a great way to release that extra bit of tension before stepping out of the house. It will exert the negative energy away from your body and simultaneously pump testosterone and endorphins through your body. If push ups are too difficult, try doing 20 jumping jacks, or jog in place. The idea is to get into a great state of mind while inhibiting all the bad emotions and tension that may linger sub consciously. Once you&rsquo;ve completed the objectives above, you should be feeling great. You should be prepared, relaxed, happy, and determined to make the night the best night possible. Remember stay agenda free and out come independent and you will excel your interactions. Keep in mind to always learn from every interaction and keep barreling through. Mastery happens with patience, experience and persistency, but it does happen.</p>
