The lair has had a lot of great speakers over the years and I’m not sure there has ever been such an overwhelming turnout for a meeting as when Matador came this past Sunday. The line ran all the way through the hall to the elevators where I stepped out, and people were traveling all the way from Philadelphia to hear the speech.
Enough spicing it up. Matador offer 90 minutes of QUALITY information on that week’s topic: calibration. He took questions from anyone and everyone, and was enjoying his own presentation time so much that he wanted to continue past his alotted time he needed to be politely cut off for a break. Next was the round table discussion, and when most presenters push their product and ditch for this portion of the meeting Matador stayed for an additional hour AND stuck around to greet people at the end. For a guy who’s got a lot of things on his table he was generous with his time and everyone could see he really cares about making a difference in everyone’s game. I told him personally he was one of the best speakers I have ever seen at the lair.
