Workshop Review Toronto 2007

I read the book called the Game by Neil Strauss and decided to check out world’s best pickup artist Mystery for myself. I forked down $2150.00 USD for three day workshop not including hotel fees, travel costs, meals, and etc. Once I entered the seminar room in the hotel, I noticed several people waiting for the seminar to get started at 2:00 P.M. on Friday afternoon. There were people of all ethnicity. Two Asians were joined by a Russian, Indian, three under 21 high school looking Caucasians, and a French speaking Montreal student with Abercrombie/Finch looking white male from Toronto. There were two instructors where Matador was sitting in front of the seminar room preparing with his tablet laptop and J-Dog from Arizona was sitting near the back of the seminar room with a great style. When Matador began the seminar event, he introduced himself and informed us that Mystery would be joining us later that day. My first gut feeling was I am getting ripped off here. We had guys from all sorts of backgrounds that included systems engineer, Architect, Business owner, consultant, and teens. All of them excluding couple of people didn’t have charisma. First impression I got was all of them looked like nerds with no social suave that included me. Most of them I thought were introverts who needed some major changes in their life to fit in to the society. First day went slow and reviewed some valuable information about life. Then Mystery rolled in with young beautiful girlfriend at around 5:00 P.M. There it was Mystery, Matador, and J-Dog with lovely CY (Mystery’s GF) interacting front of the class. It was great to see who controlled what in the class room. Matador had a tremendous frame control to fend off Mystery’s tendency to take over the class room since Mystery had practically memorized his own book and started to spit out gambits of stories after stories embellishing every detail as if some Hollywood script he has written. His verbal skills are just incredible. He could have sold me his own dung and I would have bought it. He was that good. Matador on the other hand was physical beast with his seduction skills that fits his style. He uses his verbal skills with his physical attributes to pickup woman at an alarming pace. When I called him for style advice, he just had foursome in Miami. I was speechless. J-Dog on the other hand was ridiculous. He showed us where he was before he found the community. He was chubby nerdy engineer from England who literally transformed himself to be cool, fitness lad who now has style and looks of his own. When I saw the picture of him from the past, I couldn’t believe it was really him. Lovely CY was just incredible. Her talents were amazing in the club scene where she had absolutely no problem picking up guys and girls. She basically opened sets without even trying. The best feature about this boot camp was everyone in action in the field. I observed and learned from the best. I was particularly amazed with everyone. Everyone had their own style and that was the best part of the boot camp. The boot camp will change your outlook about how you go about doing things. It will teach you how to be a better man. It will make you realize your weak points to improve on. My weakest point was self confidence. My other weak point was my verbal skills, I had no game. After witnessing Mystery with his gambits, I now know what I have to do. After grueling three days and nights, I was exhausted. Matador wouldn’t let us go until 10:00 P.M. and we had hour break before we were field testing. Even our last day, we stayed until wee hours of the night. Did I get ripped off? If I decided to go back to my original ways, I would say I did get ripped off. However, after the boot camp knowledge, it would be very difficult to go back. You have to decide for yourself, what you want to do with your life.

Social Dynamics

After reading about tragic deaths in Virginia Tech, I immediately thought of Mystery, Matador and the Venusian Arts boot camp. What if Cho had training with Mystery at one of his bootcamps? What would the outcome be if he had some sort of people skills? Could Mystery Method prevented unnecessary tragic in VA Tech? Apparently, Cho was teased, bullied and rejected by men and women in his life. Venusian arts Matador was in a deep abyss before he found Mystery and Venusian Arts. He had a great wealth and health since he was in top physical shape, but he was not happy since his relationship part was not handled. For readers from other ethnicity such as Far East, Arab countries, and from non English speaking countries who are stuck in deep abyss because of lack of social skills, take the boot camp and open your eyes. If you are English speaking person who are stuck in that deep abyss because you have no social skills, also join the program and learn to handle your personal life. Once armed with the knowledge and watch the pros show you the game in the field, you will be a changed person forever. When I witnessed Matador in the field, it was awesome. When I saw J-Dog in the field working the women and men, it was surreal. When I finally got to see Mystery for myself in the field live, not some you tube clips, I now realized it is real. Even Mystery’s gf CY was advanced socially calibrated at age 22 where Cho aged 23 who enrolled in one of the top schools in the country getting a great education, was socially inept, stalking women, didn’t have social circle of friends, and didn’t know what to do to handle this part of his life, made history. It is great to get an A in colleges. It is great to get a great job. If you are not accepted in the society, you are going to unhappy. If you are stuck at home and jerking off on porn every night for 365 days a year, you may be happy for few seconds, but ultimately you will be unhappy. Learn the social dynamics and change. Go out and meet people. Be interesting and live the interesting life. You only have 28,000 days left where you will use up most of the days in education and in old age. Learn ultimate fighting techniques. Learn to dance, do something fun. Live the life of adventure and not be stuck in the depression of deep abyss.

Handle your INNER GAME first before going into any bootcamps.

When you see the REAL PUAs not some fakes or weird dudes running to clubs doing canned materials and looking weird, get your INNER GAME SOLID. Recently I witnessed this dude who claims to be in the community taught by mystery method initially looked good but more I spend time with him, I realized he wasn't genuine. I felt that some fakenss about him and if I felt that, I wonder how chicks would not find out.

Inner game comes slow though. I am still trying to master this and it is not coming to me as easily. It does take a lot of work and is much much harder than outer game. Mystery has consistently told everyone, fake it until you make it, but you need him basically everyday to become better. Style basically hung out with this guy for 2 years and plus he attended juggler's bootcamps, Steve Piccus, David DeAngelo, Major Mark Cunningham, and the rest. Read John Alexander's ebook, plus David DeAngelo has some great material on solid inner game stuff as well as some great self hyposis programs. Right now, I am trying to get the INNER GAME to the point where I am going to be a man rather than a boy and remove my WUSSness mentality for good. More I become a man, I notice a change in behavior of other people around you. It is so amazing how your INNER GAME would literally change everything.

Member Match had a great question.
What is the progress report after the boot camp?

I can't speak for the rest, but after my bootcamp I have def changed in terms of looking at things differently. First, I am constantly working on my INNER GAME since it is the core of foundation. It is however, painful to do things you don't want to do because you are afraid. Seduction is good, but I am more interested in how we can be so solid in INNER GAME that we are not afraid of anything. I think wife of late president Franklin Roosvelt once said, if you can do one thing that is out of your comfort zone every single day, you will be free and live happier life. I am trying to do one thing out of my comfort zone a week, instead of single day. Inner Game is not easy to handle though. Your INNER WUSSNess always comes back if you are not focused. IF anyone has any ideas of IMPROVING the ever so elusive INNER GAME, reply this post. I am wondering who has reached the same INNER GAME level of Matador or Mystery.

What is real success for PUAs?

Closing the deal and maintaining the relationship if you want that.
I have seen alot of guys bragging about how great their game is by getting alot of numbers in the club or kiss closing, etc, but unable to lead to 2nd day or chicks not calling them back. They are getting great at the clubs, but needs major work translating it to closing the deal. If you are real PUAs, getting a phone number isn't a big deal or kiss closing is not a big deal for them. It is about closing. However, in the beginning, getting numbers or kiss close feels really good after not having any success and therefore many dudes feel validated.

Before taking any bootcamps, do your homework first and read everything about the bootcamp. You are working on yourself and seduction should be a bonus. Desmond Morris, renowed human psychologist (human mating) has quoted saying MM method is by far the best compressed method of mating ritual gone haywire. I will get the url of that quote. In order to learn and apply MM method is to master your INNER GAME first and the method will become so easy. However, don't be hyped by VH1 show though. It is scripted to be entertaining based on MM method to make the show fun. Although rating wasn't good, it had some entertainment value plus it put venusian arts huge exposure to the mainstream mind set. I believe Mystery is finally getting some media exposure he craved so much. I think Mystery should be focused on more helping men redevelop himself rather than seduction alone because he does get his share of bad publicity as well. When I saw the movie Cassanova with Heath Ledger, I thought Mystery perfectly matches this character. The main difference is that Mystery is not using his verbal skills to control the man, he is basically focused on seduction. If he decides to use his verbal skills to control men as well as woman, I think he can reach the status of modern Cassanova who lives life without working and enjoying the beautiful hollywood actresses since he now lives in Los Angeles.
