Piercings

I'm geting a piercing, or two. And I'm pretty sure wich one(s) to get. But, before I do that..
I just wanna know what you think is cool / gay / whatever kinda piercings. And if you have any idea of what type of piercings chicks like?
I know that is very individual, but to those of you who have piercings (in the face), where, and what response do you often get?

I'm considering geting a lip piercing, in the left or right side of the lip, and/or a nose piercing in the left nostril. It's not a septum piercing, I don't like it so much.
any suggestions?

I'm not much for facial piercing. I have one in each earlobe. Sometime I rock the rings, sometimes not. I wouldn't recommend lip, cause of the damage it does to your teeth. Same with your tongue. I know you didn't say anything about that, but I thought it was worth mentioning. Each girl is different, so that's kinda hard to gauge. The bottom line is get what you want where you want. If you think it's awesome and she doesn't, that's her problem. Remember, this is your world, we are just along for the ride.

I'd avoid the facial piercings, but that's just my personal taste. It will attract a certain type of girl but exclude you from others.

I've had my tongue pierced twice (not anymore) and have my nipple pierced.

I can say that when girls find out about my nipple piercing, they respond VERY favorably. But it FUCKING hurts, I ain't gonna lie.

I'll probably get some more to the ear, I have 1 in each earlobe, but it feels a but common / boring so I'm gonna add some more piercings there aswell. Or probably do like Mystery and stretch the hole a bit so I can use the same type he has.

Man I can seriously imagine the pain. I've been considering nipple aswell, but I'll save that for later.. When I've got my face done :)

but first I'd like to know what type of response those of you with facial piercings, pref. nose / lip, have recieved from girls. as BangBang said, it's gonna attract some and exclude others.
The main reason tho is that I wanna feel good with my looks, and I want to look interesting aswell, without overdoing it too much.

The ONLY reason to get a piercing is because you want one. FULL STOP

What other people think about it is IRRELEVANT. FULL STOP

The only reason that I got any of my piercings was because I wanted them. I could care less what girls think about it.

Currently, I have both my ears pierced. I also have both of my nipples pierced. Bangbang is right about the nipple piercings. Girls love it when they find out you have them (they have to find out though. don't tell them) and it does hurt like hell...for about 10 seconds, then its not so bad. I also used to have my eyebrow pierced. It was a good look for me, but its not for everyone.

Get a bunch of opinions, preferably from women if youre planning on getting a piercing that youre not sure of.

My response ALWAYS to this is this, "It hurts, but when you think about it, it's a virgin type of thing." Then I stack with, "Why? You want a piercing? Well, there's this girl I know who does piercings that's pretty good and cheap, but that wouldn't be nice to reveal to y'all if I don't get proper names." Always works for me.

Hehe that's great! I'm mainly geting it for self improvement, but the opener is a plus. Thanks for the feedback, It's been great too hear other opinions.

You're right, very right. I heard somwhere that if a person thinks he is goodlooking and sexy, he will appear that way to the surroundings, and I myself think geting a piercing will make me much better looking, not to mention I've allways wanted one, not for the looks, but on a more personal level.
Now I only have to check wich one fits me best.
