Hello Guys!

So I have been dating my gf for 2 and a half months. We have been having sex for 2 months, always with a condom. A couple days ago, I 'sort of' had sex with her without one, but I stoped because Im not too sure about how mucs risk there is.

By risk, I mean getting her pregnant. No STD's, because Im her first, and she is my first.. so yeah.

Shes also on BirthControl, but im not sure if that alone eliminates all the risk ..

Please enlighten me up a bit in this area, because I reeeeeeaaaaally want to have sex with her without a condom, and so does she... matter of fact, it was her idea!

So if you're both honest that you entered into this as virgins, the only real concern is getting her pregnant. OCPs (pills) are pretty reliable but not 100%. Condoms will protect you more from unwanted pregnancies. But it's such a small risk you may be willing to take it (I would be). The other issue is she may become one of those women who say they're on the pill but aren't, so they can get knocked up. Trust me, from personal experience, IT HAPPENS.

As for coitus interruptus (the pull out method), the success rate is about 75% or so, meaning 1 out of 4 times you have sex you will get enough sperm into her to impregnate. Do not rely on this method.

If you surf around wikipedia for a bit you should be able to find good info on condom and birth control pill efficacy in preventing pregnancy. Roughly, you are looking at about a 3% chance of failure per year for each method used individually. (Presumably using both would be multiplicative. Can't think of a reason why not.) Better yet, talk to your doc...

If you are really both virgins then the chance of STDs is very small but not zero. HSV-1 can be acquired via kissing (it is speculated that most acquire it in childhood via kisses from relatives). Most people have it. It can then be spread to the genitals via oral sex, and then genital to genital. (If you want to rule out this possibility you can both get tested for HSV. Do a little research and you may be able to find a clinic to do it for free, or, at worst, you might have to shell out about $100 each for the test.)

Some viral STDs, like hepatitis and HIV, can be acquired non-sexually and then transmitted sexually, but unless one of you is an intravenous drug user the chance of that might as well be zero, and is not even close to being a realistic concern.

The important thing, IMO, is that you should note that some women are looking to get knocked up, and will tell you they are on the pill when they are not. Even girls who you think would never do that. So if you choose to go unprotected be careful, or be prepared to take on the responsibilities of being a dad. (Happened to a friend of mine.
