This is one of my favourite openers, because it’s infinitely adaptable to any situation when you’re not lot local. When I was in Australia, I was running it as:

sheriff: “Hey guys, why do Australian guys all hate Australian girls?”
Set: (some response)
sheriff: “Yeah, they said that you’re all unfriendly and cold, which is weird, because all the ones I’ve met have been really friendly, and shown me a good time…”

Starts off with a neg, then follows up with an implied DHV - it’s one of my favourites!

LMO I don't know weather you're just saying it or you're aware of the fact that it's actually true. Everytime I stay in Australia I got told by the guys there that Australian girls aren't fun at all. So I'm seeing myself using that more often. Probs Sheriff

Both parts are true - the guys were saying that all the time, but also, the sets /were/ always blowing open. Must have been my British accent ;)

Nice. I'm guessing this should work even in your home town. Maybe it won't work as an opener. But if you've been talking with a girl long enough to find out she's from out of town, you can use this routine.

Yeah, this is really slick. Props.

The Great thing about this routine is, It can be used with Almost any Foreign Set. I Have used that un-intentially in my classes about persian girls being bitchy, and it gets the whole class involved. Twist and play with this, the Results are great. Also, as i think now, it can be used half way in a fading conversation. but be caustious of how its used though, race is a touchy subject with many people. I learned this first hand also.

Excelent Post Sheriff!

I have one like this.

Whatever country you're in; let's say France.

"Please tell me you're not French..."

then come up with some story, but don't think of one in advance. It's more fun if you risk offending them ^_^

Uhh did you field test it? Cuz I did last night (and I'm from the south where everyones known for being nice) and got great reactions.

I guess it could work, seeing as they are curious why they are having this idenity labelled on them that they dont like each other. (i'm from South Australia mate aswell ;))

This opener may or may not work in Australia...but it would (and will be ;) )...money in Boston. Guys here are constantly bitching about, well, all the Boston women being bitchy and cold. Even guys in my Lair occasionally post about Boston bitch shields. Can't figure that out, seems to be plenty of women for me  Great opener though, which I will be stealing and field testing myself :D Props.

Nice post Sheriff.

I've used something similar, but on a more local level. I'm not orginally from New York City, but this is very effective when approaching New York women.

Oh, sheriff, when you get a shot, PM me, as I have something you might be interested in.

best,
