Is peacocking THAT mandatory? I mean, in The PUA on VH1, the two finalists didn't peacock to that degree. I mean the pic above...no way could I pull off that look.

no, even one or two items, like a cool jacket can be enough. but the more you stand out in a stylish way the better in my opinion.

i went to a party with that dj equalizer shirt and everyone was looking at me in a good way.

i read somewhere yesterday (maybe it was kinowear.com/blog) that if a girl normally sees you as a 6, if you dress well it can bump you up to a 9 in their eyes.

I can see that. And when I go out, I do snazz things up, but I'm far more Joe D than I am Mystery. Matador doesn't dress that outlandishly, and I can pull off the type of stuff he seems to wear, but I'm leaving the striped, fingerless, gloves at home.

you dont need to pull off a mystery thing just wear one interesting object so its easier for girls to open you and you dont look like every other afc there.

i think all you need is a conversation piece...make upa story to go along with it...wear something that's a dhv...it makes you seem like a fun/decent guy always works in the <30 crowd...something expensive looking can make you seem financially sound for the >30 crowd..
