Congrats on taking the intiative. However it seems as though you are fueling this newfound ambition with negative energy directed toward your ex. For this reason I feel as if your intentions are somewhat clouded.

Learn this art for yourself and not for any other reason.

As for advice...

A girl is only your ex once you are completely over her. That's just the way I see it. If the thought of your ex is going to interfere with your game, or if proving something to your ex is the basis for your game then you are obviously not over her. The best way to show your ex you have moved on...is to move on.

Your ego should not be hurt by one woman.She is one woman among many many others.

I hope this doesn't come off too preachy.
