In Japan I get most of them choosing 8. They seem to avoid 7 here because in this culture there's the concept of "lucky 7" and they seem to avoid it because it's too obvious a choice (a few of them have told me that after I guessed wrong). I also use it in most of my sets, along with the "How many 9s are there between 0 and 100?" (if they say anything about being intelligent I do this as their intelligence test).

Throw in some other subliminals and it will boost your success rate up to nearly 100%. Blatantly draw a 7 in the air as you tell them to let the image of a number come into their minds. Most of the time, they won't even notice you did it.

I prefer foolproof ESP routines. Why mess with such a soft effect when you can guarantee it'll work if you just do it a different way?

I do it on three sets and have all the girls pick a number, then I go on about how I sometimes only connect with really "special" people. then I say 7 or do the stigmata routine in combo with this , then I move on into the short bus routine.
Also with stigmata you can ask them what was there # they say aren't you supposed to guess it, Just tell me, then you could have two answers ready, if they pick a third answer play it off and move on with the game.

Search for Stigmata. It's a really great DVD. There are also some really good magic products on there as well.

Don't do magic in set unless you have grounded it to your identity. If your identity is a magician or if it is your true passion in life... go for it. But if you are an investment banker doing magic tricks in set, you run the risk of being a dancing monkey, or the set can and will realize that you are picking them up.

If you are a newbie having trouble in A2 you might think using magic will get you the attraction you are looking for... and it will. But what happens after that? You move into comfort and she starts to learn more about you and your identity, so that you can create that strong connection needed to begin a sexual relationship. If you don't know what you are doing many girls will realize that you swapped the PU line of, "So what's your sign?" with a magic trick.

Also, (unless you are an illusionist) magic cheats you out of leaning the social skill set that is Mystery Method. Your goal is to become a more interesting and fun guy. Your goal is to live life. The women will follow. You are not Mystery. If you are a computer programmer at IBM, it is incongruent to paint your nails black and perform magic. When you get into qualification and comfort... this incongruence will surface. Everything you do must be congruent to who you are and what you do.

Don't have a good identity? Great, take up magic. Become ambitious about magic. Tell her in comfort that in 10 years you want tour as one of the best illusionist on the planet. BTW, illusionist (ie. Chriss Angel, Mystery, David Blaine) = sexy. Magician = some guy in a tux pulling a rabbit out of a hat a 5 year olds birthday party = not sexy. Know the difference and think of the bigger picture.

On the flipside... for those of you who insist on using magic because you are too scared to talk to girls in a confident manner... just tell her that you appreciate the way magic opens people up and turns them into children... you think it is just a great way to meet new people. This only works if you have been working the whole room and meeting new people. If you stand around stalking a set and open with magic trick in A1 or A2... you will get busted. I just personally feel that using magic to game not only disrespects the art of magic but cheats you out of a valuable skill set that makes life more enjoyable. Best of Luck Gentlemen.

Ok Stigmata is a wow effect, not the typical magic trick, I usually use magic to open a set with or before a # close to leave on a high, You should not rely on magic it is a tool like any thing else and remember its only one ride per customer.

The short bus routine is simple it is basically a C&F or a neg or a DLV depending on how it is actually used.

Omg, I remember you now! your that girl that rode the short bus in school.

Or I bet you rode the short bus to school ,You remind me of this girl I went to school with I can remember going to morning practice and seeing her get off the short bus or etc......

ESP routines are a good gimmick to transition from attract material into comfort.

To add muscle to this, do the following:

Ask them to think of a vegetable - - the first vegetable the think of - they invariably reply carrot.

I think 95 % of the time they say carrot.

Go out and try it. You might get a girl that tries to be smart and says Aspharagus . You retort " the *first* vegetable you thought of missy..... not one you spent ages thinking about in a lame attempt to impress me"

You will probably get two out of three then for your ESP routine

If they asked, how do you know - say you sensed the thought and thought is energy.

Then - now this is gold (no-one in the community does this that I know of uses this routine which has Kino and DHV incorporated into , yes I "invented" this one myself).

- Take her left hand (emotional part of the brain) and tell her to put her palm up towards you.

- You take your left hand and interlock your fingers and collapse them.

- Leave your middle finger extended. Hers should be too

- You then grab her right hand and tell her to rub your middle finger.

She will probably go "OMG. how did you do that "?!!!!!

The brain gets confused and if she touches your finger, it will feel like she is touching her own finger.

It works both ways, try it - it is a very freaky but incredibly intense. If you touch her finger, it feels like its your own.

Say it is "energy transference" or some chick crack shit that DHV's you.

Watch her pupils dilate and her face light up and glow as if George Clooney just approached her saying he had a cunninglingus addiction.

From that point on, if you did everything else right, that girl is yours :)

It's pretty funny, because a year ago, I used to LOVE this routine, and did it in a ton of sets (maybe 30 sets - usually one or two sets is a full night for me), and they picked 7 (and 3 for the 1-4) about 90% of the time... then after about three months of using the routine, all of a sudden NOBODY picked 7. Quite literally, I used the routine maybe 15 more times, and NOBODY picked seven. Freaky.

This is quite fascinating. My experience was that when I first tried the routine it almost never worked, so I dumped it for a year. But then when I revisited it it worked almost every time! Same with other "ESP" and other "guessing" type routines.

This will sound a bit spooky, but I think that the "correct" number is communicated to them non-verbally, in a manner that we probably don't even understand, such that it almost does seem like actual ESP is involved.

I also feel there is likely a compliance/defiance dynamic at work under the surface. HBs may subconsciously want you to fail because they think you are a dork, or they may subconsciously want you to succeed because they think you are cool. And it may even be that your wants are a big factor in your success to!

I guess if someone really want to study it academically the first step would be trying it over the telephone to see how big a factor non-verbals are. But such a person would have to be an extreme KJ to spend his time like that! ;)

Yeah, in my city, there are probably only about a five thousand or so people who come into clubs regularly at night. I bet they were conspiring... something along the lines of "If you ever get asked to pick a number between one and ten... do NOT pick seven! This player guy asks that, and if you pick SEVEN, then you will have NO CHOICE BUT TO HOOK UP WITH HIM... NO CHOICE!!!!" (this is true, btw.... if they pick seven, the have NO CHOICE)

I used this like 10 times back in the day and they never picked 3 and 7. Not once.

I have used it on myspace before not a great deal maybe 5 times but would say it was right 3 out of 5 times. I know in some Asian cultures they never pick the Lucky 7. I would say try it and go with the most picked # for your area.

You can also use it like a cold read if they do not pick 7 just say you know that tells me a lot about you as a person, because then go into a prop less cold read.

For any cold read or trick always leave your self an angle or way out. This can be the same as in pickup. For example they throw a shit test out you turn it and use it to your favor same is true of out come dependent tricks.

The first time I used this, I freaked some chick out so badly that she wouldn't leave me alone or anyone else who knew me(unfortunately, I didn't know what to do with it in those days). I used it a TON of times after that and it NEVER worked again. Then, I just started using it pretty recently again and have found that if you multi-thread a major DHV story into it, it really just doesn't matter what the answers are and if they get 3 and 7, it just super charges the attraction phase. I think the biggest problem at that time was that women saw it as a routine instead of something that belonged in the conversation. Once you learn how to make it a normal part of the conversation, it doesn't really matter what her answers are because you should be triggering the right attraction switches anyway.

If a girl says 3 and than 7, both right..... I say " oooh . That means you got bad aura energy"

If a girl says other than 3 and than other than 7, both wrong..... I say " oooh . That means you got bad aura energy"

And finally, if one of her answers is right and the other is wrong..... I say " oooh . That means you got bad aura energy"

After that I say that with bad aura she will get bad breath (neg) and that I know one cool and simple exercise "to heal it".

Do it in a way which is congruent to your Identity and that will make she always look dumb, and structure your game in a way that every single word compels her to put energy in the interaction, pass your tests, accept your hoops. If she answers right and get surprised, just better.
