I know I’m new but I have a few ideas for the forum.
Firstly you need an “Introduction Forum.” This just makes it easier for all the newbs because it gives them a good starting point for posts.
The second thing you need is a “General Discussion Forum” where people can talk about anything unrelated to sarging. This will make a good place for people to just kick it, joke and get to know one another. Turn this place in to a community rather than just another faceless forum that only talks about chasing tail.
Third would be the “lifestyle forum,” this would have sub forums including Health, Careers, Fashion and Relationships maybe even Hobbies.
Finally in addition to the sub forums already on the main forum may I recommend the following:-
-Inner Game Sub-Forum
-Outer Game Sub-Forum
-Field Reports Sub-Forum
What you think?

Yes. All of the above.
I mean, I know the general disucussion will "Look" less busy, but active members keep posting because of a strong community. Its easy to get signups on name value, but the community is what keeps people around.

I actually found that on one of the other forums I regularly visit that the General discussion is often one of the busiest areas. The guys really pull together as a group and the atmosphere there is really energetic while also friendly cos everyone gets to know each other. :)

FYI, I'm an asshole. Nothing personal.
Firstly you need an “Introduction Forum.” This just makes it easier for all the newbs because it gives them a good starting point for posts.
The only posts newbies should be making are field reports. I don't want to hear a damn thing about some new poster who joined the community. I don't want to hear how he's glad everyone's here, how much he idolizes one guru or another, how he started with product X and now he has product Y and he's been meaning to get out in field but hasn't found the right routines.
etc etc.
I want a god damned field report section on the forum. And basically nothing else. Don't talk game. Don't talk lifestyle. Give me real examples of you going in field and talking to girls. We'll discuss things AS THEY OCCCUR.
Do we need ANOTHER forum in cycberspace for the mental masterbation of theory discussion? Do we need YET ANOTHER place to discuss wether or not something might work?
No, we don't. Everytime a new forum opens up, the prominent posters from the last forum flock on over. First the attraction forums, then RSD, now Venutian Arts. And its all the same shit.
People with ego's bubble to the surface, spouting pretty words to build their ego through the hero worship of other men. I'm not here to be worshipped by other men. I'm here to help guys get laid.
And some newbie posting his life fucking drama story doesn't help him get laid. Get in fucking field, and tell me how it went. I'll know from your post where you went wrong. Where your inner game allowed you to steer the conversation in the wrong direction, the moment you lost the set, wether or not your expressed too much interest, wether you conveyed the confidence of a man experienced with women, etc.
I can't see that shit in your intro. And you're not goona know to look for it by reading quizzacle posts like 'neg the person above you.' Which is a bullshit thread, btw. It's dumb.
No offense to those that participated.
The second thing you need is a “General Discussion Forum” where people can talk about anything unrelated to sarging.
This is not a fucking kum-by-ya-my-lord circle jerk. We're here to get laid. Fix the rest of your life elsewhere. Stop trying to make PUA fill that empty hole in your life. It's a temporary phase meant to bring you from lonliness to a level of skill we call 'having options in your life.'
Stop trying to dwell here indefinately. That's for guys that not only aren't getting laid, but clearly don't want to get laid.
Or are trying to make money off the community. Fuck that shit. Like there isn't already a hundred bootcamp companies, each claiming some superiority over the next?
If you want to make money doing this shit, convince one of the big companies to franchise.
This will make a good place for people to just kick it, joke and get to know one another. Turn this place in to a community rather than just another faceless forum that only talks about chasing tail.
We're not here to make a fucking glee club. We're here to CHASE TAIL. What you need are some god damned flesh and blood friends. OK, go tot he bar for the next four weeks and focus on building a circle of friends. Then ask yourself when the fuck you're gonna have time to kick it with all of the faceless nimrods you know online?
I don't have fucking time for this community except my day job's a bit slow. I've gotten laid every night for two weeks now. I've been out with multiple friends 4 nights a week consistently for the same time period. I'm out having fun, playing pool, throwing darts, hitting a film festival, seeing live comedy, watching my friend spin at a nightclub, dancing with hotties, throwing parties. And let's not forget spending quality time with my son on the weekends. What are you doing?
Kicking it online. Yeah. That's some sexy shit.
Third would be the “lifestyle forum,” this would have sub forums including Health, Careers, Fashion and Relationships maybe even Hobbies.
How much of a loser do you need to be to rely on this shit from some web community? Make some fucking friends that lead the lifestyle you want. Learn from them. Become part of them. Failing that, let's address each topic right here and now.
Health. Take fucking care of yourself. Join a gym, hit the group classes. Make friends. Join a running or biking club. Learn to eat right. Join Jenny Craig or LA Weightloss if you need some education on how.
Career. Your career determines two things. Your social life for half the day. The amount of money you produce and the options that money provides. Look at it backwards. What kind of social life do you want? Find a job that provides it. Now evaluate how much money you can make in that job. Find a compromise between those two areas of your life.
Fashion. Take girls clothes shopping with you. Hot girls. The kind you want to sleep with but aren't. Pick up some queer eye for the straight guy DVDs for grooming, fashion and decorating tips. End of discussion.
Relationships. Wrong community for that shit. The seduction community will eventually evolve into a resource for this. But for now... please. Do you honestly believe men getting bedding 5+ new girls a month are focusing on relationships? Nah. Go check Dr Ruth's site.
Hobbies. Depends what you want a hobbie for. Hobbies provide a social outlet. Find hobbies that provide the social outlet you want. I like film festivals, comedians, parties, etc. They provide the community I want to associate with. Both for girls and friends.
-Inner Game Sub-Forum
-Outer Game Sub-Forum
-Field Reports Sub-Forum
No, no and yes.
What you think?
The forum you suggest is a trap. Men come to learn a skillset and get enraptured by this cornucopia of stuff. Further, I've seen the kind of advice these forums produce. And its crap. No seriously. It's a bunch of guys with too much free time spouting shit that they may or may not have a valid authority in. (I firmly fit in this category). That's not what this community needs.
The best thing in the world for a seduction stupid is field time with an instructor. The best design for a forum contains two things. Articles by instructors. And field reports. Shitloads of field reports. Every conversation in this place should begin with a field report. Post what the hell happened and let people critique it, comment on it, suggest options, discuss strategies, etc.
Peace out

This should seriously be considered as policy. The weight of all the KJing about theory "advice" and discussion by people with NO LRs!?! is what results in such a poor signal-to-noise ratio and a useless forum.

Ouch, well that kind of hurt my balls but I see why it needed to be said. Your right. I have plenty of flesh and blood friends and I don’t plan on making any money out of this but for the rest of what you said you’re completely right. I've let myself fall in to the trap of keyboard jockey, constantly at the screen when I should be out and about.
Thanks for the smack in the face Cedar. I needed it.

While I agree with what you're saying broadly Cedar (the general 'Get in the field! Get in the field! NO YOU DIDN'T LISTEN TO ME! Stop typing! Get in the field! message :D) I have to say that lifestyle/health is valuable and often overlooked.
Sure you can join up and go to a gym.
but
Without advice from knowlegable people you're not going to get anything like as much out of it. It may even be counter-productive.
I was very lucky that one of my long-term wingmen is also a Personal Trainer. So I know that first hand.
No point in stifling valid advice people need to hear.

That's the reason why a seduction forum should NOT focus on things like healthy living. We're NOT knowledgeable. Go join a men's health forum if you want to be healthy.
Join a seduction forum if you want to get laid. End of story.

I see your point Cedar but some guys out there are not getting laid because of their inner game, poor grooming or other obstacles that are not seduction-related.

So join a bodybuilding forum to get in shape. Join a music forum to learn music. Join a seduction forum to learn seduction.

Smoothie those were all great ideas and i think It would be nice to be able to log on here and discuss everything you mentioned. It would definitely make it more intimate, because the venusian arts are more then just a skill its a way of life. It would be nice to be able to get others opinions on things besides game.

That's the reason why a seduction forum should NOT focus on things like healthy living. We're NOT knowledgeable.
Speak for yourself :p
Having varying interests is great, allowing them to get in the way of what matters is a problem.
I agree with Sub-forums for the community aspect. Sometimes you want to discuss random crap not related to VA and that is something you should be able to do here, why limit what people are able to chat up about. You don't have to post or read anything in that sub-forum so what is the big problem.
Personally, my job is pretty boring (I also get work done pretty efficiently). I post on a few forums (VA related and not) just as a way to pass the time. I don't go out every night so I don't have anything to post in that respect and while I could go over what everyone else is talking about in regards to VA, a break is always nice.
I agree with Cedar about a intro forum, unnecessary.

This post by Cedar should be sticky and bold and bright red or something.
Everybody should HAVE to read this before they even are allowed to create an account on here in the first place. Especially that you MUST NOT give advice on any thread unless you ARE getting laid. In Marie's words, you wouldn't ask a really overweight person for fitness advice.
Interesting also to see the amount of drop outs at this forum... lots of the people who posted on this thread a year ago got their post count up to 10 and then quit. Persistance is key to this game guys.
My best,
-Karea.
