Anyone a bouncer?

Ok so im getting a fake ID, but im a lil worried b/c i look like im 15 if not younger.

Anyways i know a few guys that already went thru this guy and i put their ids next to my real license (same state) and it black lights perfect. We think it may even be from the DMV. For all the things i know to look for it looks perfect. So anyways, my question is what do bouncers/ bar tenders look for in IDs. This seems like a flawless id.

Is it all about body language?

Any tips on making this success on my first few attempts.

I'm not sure about Orange County, CA/TEmpe, AZ (i think thats america right?).... but here down in australia, bouncers check for holograms in the ID's... very critical that they have them.

Yes that is america. And from what i saw, the holograms looked perfect too. Forget to add that.

We usually blacklight and check for holograms. Also, sometimes we use scanners that read the IDs to make sure they're real if we have doubts.

my 2 cents: just act normal and memorize the info on the id, dob etc
got into a 21+ club with someone else's id a few months back ... lol

I have been working as a bouncer for the past ten years. Best way is to get there early, don't give attitude and if you go with friends who are also underage DO NOT go together. If there is a line up go to the bouncer and hand him 20$ to cut the line ( plam the 20$ and shake his hand with it). Also dress up a bit no runners or long ass Tees.

Some places you go, there won't even be a bouncer there till 9(usually aren't the big clubs).

the cool thing is all the info on mine is real. The ID is my home state and i go to school out of state. My address and everything is the same. It my b-day with a dif. year.

Protagonist, why do you say dont go together? Im in college so everyone im going to go with is under 21. Almost my entire floor got fake ids.

if they bust one of you they're more likely to look at all of your IDs with more detail.

apg96: I work the door at the club and like gamble said if I bust one of you then none of you are coming in. So like I said come alone ( to the bouncer anyways) approach him outside of the lineup, and tip him. Best way to do it.

the whole palming 20 bucks to cut the line, does that really work? because im afraid thell just take my money and be like Yeah, and send me to the back of the line, but if they do let me in wouldnt that be a DHV?

OK as an ex bouncer you need to know how your state generates your drivers license or ID # since it is the same # anyways, as for example I bounced in Florida and the number contains certain markers that should match your ID such as your sex being in a certain position as an even or odd # determining your gender also there are other markers for birth month ect.... Now the majority of bouncers probably have no clue but some of us guys are not as stupid as people think and it would suck to go to all that trouble to get a fake id for it to be snatched up and cut up in front of you.

Honestly though I would recommend you get a copy of my book Insider's Guide to Hired Guns as there is a section on making nice with the bouncer. I used to go to a bottle club, basically a bottle club works like this does not open till midnight and does not close till 5 - in the morning and you bring your own booze.
Because I was so cool with the bouncer he never checked ID's or took cover charges from me or my female guest which meant we did not have the (marks of death) Big X on our hands that said we were underage to drink.

all great info thanks. Im going to be great on the ID front, but im a lil concerned about being nervous the first few times. You know like shaking or something. IM prolly going to buy first at places i know, then just the grocery store then start the clubs.

Now i cant afford 20 bucks a night to get into clubs. Im hoping that when i start to by BJJ and Muay Thai that i might me some bouncers.

Would it make and difference if im going by being invite by one of the club promoters?

Yes... and walk in with them... or have them come out and get you.

If you have a promoter come get you make sure that you didn'y offened the bouncer in away 1st,Cuz it is up to them if you get in or not, I have had guys bust my balls, saying they know the owner or promoters before and just bcuz they acted like pricks I wouldn't let them in.

Find out your happy hr restaurant/bar clubs. I don't know anything about clubs/restaurants in the States but I know up in Canada (Toronto), Montana's has a good crowd and you won't get carded if you get dinner around 9:30. As with the rest said from earlier, gotta agree fully. Be cool to bouncers..ask if they want some water to drink, befriend the staff once your in. The card..its 50/50 if you get it, so unless you do it often I wouldn't bother. If you really want to get into parties/ places to visit befriend some dudes in your local colleague or university since they have tons of parties at different times of the yr.
