I'm no expert on strippers (ask Hypnotica) but I did date one (very briefly....haha social proof). I think they pretty much show up to work, and if they have to take off then it's okay as long as there are other girls willing to dance and make the money. The girls have their stage time and then other time where they do what they want (ie. lap dances, etc.).


I too am actually somewhat concerned about the lack of dialogue considering how much they showed of the other sets. Brady's remark of "how can we change that" was money, but this adds, IMO, to the sketchy aspects of the show. From the first episodes we see tampering with Herbal's girls, etc. I am a fan of the show. I enjoy it and thought it was real. But things keep popping up to indicate that it may have had multiple takes and actors involved. Oh well. I still know that this does and will work for me. Just disappointing.

But as for the show. It really comes off that Brady didnt do any good game in the limo. It looked like he just sat there and took his time yet surprisingly no IOD. And as I sat thinking about it, I think his looks might have carried him there at the end.

First of all that stripclub had really awful looking strippers for Vegas. When I'm in vegas I'm used to see 9s and 10s. Not a bunch of 6 and 7s especially at what looks like a big club. Second Brady was awful. He just looked like a lost AFC who had a bunch of material jammed in his brain. Kosmo and Joe D. actually looked alot like they've been on a tv show about picking up women for a while. Come to think of it how long have they've been on this show? This is is like a marathon bootcamp. Usually those only last a couple of days right? Wouldn't that mean that there must be a high rate of failure if it takes these guys so long to get comfortable picking up women using the Mystery Method? They're still using the same horrible canned openers from the first two episodes.

I think everyone's interpretation of looks can vary. I thought the girls in the strip club were pretty cute. I have been to many of the strip clubs in Vegas, but there are a wide variety of girls working them. Depending on the time of day, day of the week, or special events going on, the talent will be different. The 10 point scale is not based solely on looks though. Any of the girls would be higher on the scale in the strip club than if they were outside the club based solely on the fact that men go to that club to watch them. It is really more of a scale on how valuable the girl thinks she is.

I was watching it while drinking with friends so I did not get to analyze it , but I think you might be right on that, it almost seemed like a fools mate. It looked like he was trying to be cocky funny the whole time and failing at it.

It helps when you tell her you "have a limo outside". Brady played a good game, but got nervous in the limo for a while then pua'd up and kissed her. In the trailers and commercials for the show they show Brady in bed with her. (VH1 did some sloppy editing here, if you paid attention you can guess the outcome of the show).

in mehow's review of this past episode on his blog he makes some really good points on brady and the dancer. It had all the signs of someone who was paid to be there.

Girls will wait like the dancer in the limo did if you build enough attraction. If you look at her knee bouncing while she is waiting and her excited reaction when Brady moved in to kiss her, you can tell this is real emotion not acting. I have experienced this many times. If you want to try it out, get to your seduction location after going through attract and comfort and tease her. Lean in like you are about to kiss her and reach for something behind her. Touch her neck and shoulders. Breathe on her neck. She will either be nervously waiting for a kiss like the dancer or attacking you by kissing you.

San Diego has real strict laws.

However, with the technical stuff out of the way. It would have been interesting for me to see. Remember, i have trained some of my dancers in the art of seduction so that they ca make more money. So it would have been interesting to see him against a girl who knows how to game. In all of the pua's that have come to my club only 1 have succeeded. However i am all for the battle of the will's. I enjoy watching the game.

On the Vh1 PUA MESSAGE BOARD there was a guy that claimed he works a door man in a strip joint and says that the shows did "clever editing" or was flat out "fake" for the reason that the girls aren't allowed to leave until they finish their shift..it's like a normal 9-5 office job...WTF?!!!!
First off, I've had strippers, I've had stripper frinds and hell, even a fam member of mine was a stripper, and they do what ever they want, ...they can even DRINK on the job if they so choose! They pay a minimum fee of at least $50, in some higher upscale joints like $100 to dance, walk around, lap dance whatever..."normal office 9-5 job"-my ass!!!-lol Aint nothin "normal" about going to the office and stripping for your boss! if we went to work and saw "fred" giving someone a lap dance, i think we can all agree that we'd leave IMMEDIATELY!..of course not without pointing and laughing first!-hehe

point being, strippers can leave when ever they want...it's up to them if they made enuff money for themselves or not...

At Everyclub in San Diego girls have to work a set number of hours. 6 hours is the minimum at my club. I Don't know about other cities but I don't know of any clubs here where a girl can come and go as they wish and i have been in this business over 14 years but things get pretty crazy in vegas and florida

I have frequented many SCs in Austin and my GF of the past two years is a dancer at one. The scene in the TV show most definitely was a local Austin club, they even show the sign right before the guys enter.

As for the dancers, rules about coming and going very from city to city and even club to club. Exotic dancers are Independent Contractors, not employees so yes they can come and go whenever they want, however they are subject to management rules.

In Houston I have had dancers tell me they come and go as they please with no problems from management. In Austin though it is a bit different.

First, the later they arrive to work the more they pay in 'house fees'. This is an incentive for them to arrive at 6 or 8PM instead of 11PM. House fees may be free or as low as $20 for early arrivals and as high as $60+ for late arrivals.
They have to pay this fee whether they have a slow night or a good one.

Secondly, management of most clubs in Austin does not like the ladies to end their shift early. If they made this easy the girls would all just walk out on a slow night. Although they can not fire a lady since she is not an employee they can certainly prevent her from coming back. This is the strongest incentive for keeping them their until the end of their shift. I have seen the prettier girls walk out anyways on rare occasion and come back to work the next day with no issue - they can get away with it.

It is quite plausible that the scene in the TV show happened after her shift was up. I have met several dancers after they got off work for a hookup, and always in a limo (by myself), at no cost to me for the after hours sex, just by establishing good rapport and not being an AFC.

First off, the Mystery Method works. I am a believer. This stuff has worked for me time and again.

That said, don't believe everything you see on the VH1 show. Facts to consider

1. Everyone who appears on tv must sign a release form for their face to be shown. This is why people in clubs on "The Real World" often have blurred faces. Every person in every club on the Pickup Artist is unblurred. They signed something agreeing to be on the show. Was it after filming? Or before??

2. Strip clubs don't allow cameras.

3. Mystery was an illusionist and magician before he was a PUA.

It's a tv show boys, use your brains.

As I said, I follow Mystery's teachings, and they work very well for me. But I don't believe anything on that show is genuine.

Here is something you might be able to use on the stripper, tailored to your own story of course. Years ago I was working as a Paramedic in Palm Beach County, Fl. One of my jobs was to take EMT/Paramedic students on calls with us. There were only a few of us certified to act as trainers and the students had to ride a total of 40 hours, normally 4 hours at a time so we got to know them pretty well. She was really worried I would tell the guys back at the station about what she did to earn money to get through college explaining that "Once men find out what I do for a living, they either want to fuck me or think I am a whore and want noting to do with me." I told her that I was a guy and she was a hot woman, of course I wanted to sleep with her. (she laughed). I also told her I respected her working 3 nights a week making more money that I did working in 2 weeks, to follow her dream of being a Paramedic. I also promised not to tell anyone where she worked. I also told her that I had become a Paramedic because I had killed for the Marines, and that in the grand scheme of things killing is probably more wrong than dancing so who was I to judge. By the time we were done talking, she had forgotten she was standing in front of me naked.
