Yeah, I know what a neg is. Like, "Nice nails, are they fake?" or "Nice breasts, who's your surgeon?" (Well, okay, that last one is a little over the top, but anyway, I get the concept.) But you see, there have been plenty of insults, not negs, in this thread, so I didn't feel compelled to stay completely on the straight and narrow path since no one else was. Arguably, it's not practical to neg in this context because it's not representative of a real time social situation. Therefore, insults that approximate negs or are otherwise highly clever should suffice as entertainment because, I assume, we're more about entertaining ourselves with witty repartee in this thread than actually practicing valid negs or suggesting negs that would work well in the context of a real interaction. Admittedly I'm biased, but I thought my pseudo-negs were more clever than anyone else's because they were dry and sly, not an outright "you suck" or "yo momma" insult. For instance, "Have you tried it?" is a backhanded way of saying you haven't been successful negging (or pseudo-negging) so far in this thread. I'm not really serious, but apparently no one is picking up on that fact.
