Are these sneakers good to wear with jeans?

I thought that these looked "peacocky" but not to the extreme. Do you think these would look good with a pair of jeans or no?

Jeans will be fine. Might help if your shirt is color coordinated with those shoes, it might make them stand out much more.

I would wear black jeans and a white shirt if I was sporting those shoes, but I personally wouldnt wear them.

I've got a white top from Diesel (not sure what to call the top though) that matches them well. I'm just trying to find sneakers that are different than the usual stuff. That website I found those on is pretty good but it has so much selection it is overwhelming.

Those Lacoste's are siiiiick. Definitely get them. If you can afford it you should get them in a few different colors to match other outfits.

Depends what you wear those with ... I prefer bright white shoes with jeans. Air Force 1 or KSwiss will never go wrong. Try grey dickies or checkered grey dress pants with white sneakers or black and white checked vans. If you are looking to peacock and those shoes from Zappos are your choice ... you are barking up the wrong tree. If anything, those will be more matched to an outfit and won't stand out.

If you are looking to peacock ... you need some Adidas Gazelles ... go to Eastbay and look there. They make some lime green ones, bright red, light blue or green ones. I have a pair of bright red Adidas sambas and every guy who has seen them has made fun of me. EVERY girl has always commented about liking my shoes. I'm not kidding ... every single girl I've worn them out and started talking to has commented on them. Adidas also makes a shoe with a computer in the heel called the Adidas 1.1. It has two blinking lights on the side and is light grey with a neon green heel. There is a special key you stick in the side for a demo and the lights start flashing and the motor starts making noises. Peacocking is about standing out and anything Lacoste is about fitting in. If you want to look like Kayne West, go with the Lacoste. If you want to look like Mystery, wear some New Rock boots with 6 inch platforms.

If you want TRUE Peacocky shoes, look for the Adidas Carlos Gruber collection. (there are a few on EBay or at Adidas outlet stores). Those are inspired by the 70s ... so you are talking yellow, orange and blue moon boots, white shoes with rainbow socks attached, etc. They also make clothing like rainbow jackets and bright neon sweaters.

if you really want to stand out from the crowd with your sneakers, get some onitsuka tiger mexico 66, girls really notice them and they look the best with jeans. Another great style is the adidas samba, they also look great with jeans.

Onitsukas are really cool, but I would hardly call them peacocky. They're just great trainers.

I wouldn't waste your money on sneakers. Buy a decent pair of leathers for the bar scene. If you don't know where to shop, ask a dozen girls tonight where to go. They'll tell you.

And some cute shopkeeper will tell you which one to buy when you get there ;)
