Now lets be realistic. Although Mystery pioneered the Venusian Arts as a geurilla method which is conducted out, primarily in clubs on strangers for many many many people they meet their mate on the job.
Certain jobs (which mystery points out in the MM) lead to more access and prestige with women. Note the distinction here. Both ingredients are essential. One can have prestige with women and still be locked in a virtual fucken prison. Look at Style, how many years of his life was he bottled up with his sophistication and .. style.. always the friend, rarely the lover. His job gave him prestige but he did not (I am guessing here) have as much ready access to women WHILE WORKING. And if you have both.. you dont need HALF the skills PUAs cultivate. You working deomnstrates higher value, getting used to her and not taking her shit because you do it every day, negs her in a primative, powerful way. Jokes flow, etc
To some PUAs working is KEY. Why? Its hot. It demonstrates all the things we practice in the club but in a long drawn out way where comfort is built naturally and even with new workers it is socially conveyed. It flicks attraction switches, not only when you have a position of power either. When I was a gas jockey out in minus 30 pumping I got hit on almost as much as being a DJ, when I was working inside the store in a different gas station I didnt get hit on at all. What was the difference? one is a demonstration of fitness. In fact I actually SUCK at picking up chicks in bars. I dont know what to say to them, I rarely have the initiative to cajole them completely on the spot and I AM WAY to impatient to build up to the hot ones by working the crowd (Which is an almost essential element to getting the most out of a club). ya da ya da, im just not that good because I needed exposure to women.. and my work game has improved my going out game.
Prestigous work is hot and prestige can come not just by getting high monetary rewards or being an authority, it can come from independence and strength as well as demonstration of some skill (ANY skill) that gets the job (WHATEVER job) done efficiently. Most things you do while working are attractive to women.
That said obviously some jobs have way more prestige and hit on many levels or are more intrinsinctly attractive to females. Prime jobs that both give high prestige and access to women and on some way really hit female attraction switches hard.
I would like your oppinions on what these jobs are and why they are ballin for PUAs.
I will list the two I am familiar with:
Photographer:
As a photographer I can make people, anybody almost happy and impressed. It commands respect under party situations, formal, etc. It has a practical use, is part of commerce and establishes the person as an artist who is actually succeeding in surivival through art. (It is another discussion but succesful artists of any kind are generally considered attractive).
And you can make her look pretty. If shes hot she becomes a super model. If shes not, she still becomes a super model. You can decorate her world and your house with your creation and each one is an emotional experience for her. If you like models you are like a ace in the hole, a guy who can help her refine and explore her work. You'll get access to models. Models will get turned on listening to you telling them what to do, carressing them and punishing them with your words as you guide them to beauty.
Photography is actually a very sexual art. Though it can also be familial.
In anycase it is a good job for a PUA, a job of esthetics, prestige and generally bearing access to people. Keep in mind this applies far more to photographers with people as their subject matter rather then wildlife, or landscape, etc. simply because the former have more access to their pursuits, the women.
Also a REAL photographer can carry his camera as a prop. His camera not only gives him prestige with strangers it makes them engage him and try and draw his attention, he is an alpha. Then when the target draws his attention and he snaps her picture and shows her she actually looks beautiful.
This is why you must actually be a photographer. The moment she sees the result of the photo she will make a decision about you. Did you make her look beautiful. If the answer is no she will be repelled, and literally I have seen women RUN when i did this. Now you could still game her but as a pro when she sees how you made her look sexy and she wants the photo and shes now asking for your phone number email, facebook whatever.. well it pans out. When I go out i take a real camera and set for business. It also acts as a conversation piece and makes you stand out from the crowd. This means a DSLR, flash, knowing how the frig it works. A hack could get away with just using this combo on auto and still get some good hits by chance but will not have the value being an actual pro at what you do and demonstrating it right there.
I have literally been gamed by 6 sets of women. They would LOVE to have you as part of their party.
DJ:
As a DJ you are guiding her on an emotional journey. Shes moving to a beat on the dance floor and you are changing her rythyms and she is changing her moves to match yours. On a symbolic level people dance like they make love. So in some way you are literally fucking her on the dance floor. Just a little and in a way that is all her, its all her imagination, you arent actually touching her. Shes just moving to ya.
This experience is so viceral and intense for women they seek out certain rhthyms to experience with you, songs, they all want songs. But other women want it too because as a DJ you are cassanova taking them all higher. So there is a line up to your booth. The one who has been let part way in and has this HUGE smile because she is the special one that got in, is still being made to wait after you didnt say a word to her other then "Wait!" then looked forward, furrowed your brow and did something she has NO clue what but she feels it and she sees it in you as you move while conducting the heart beat of the experience. There is excited, sexualized women lining up to interact with you and this knocks every one of them head over heals.
Djing is PUA on speed with barely any work, but its gotta be public and the bigger you can go the better, like a rock star (Another PUA job). It has significant advantages over the rock star however, one, even when your small time your getting paid. Two, it is a complex art that seems more complex to the observer then playing a guitar (generally), so it illustrates skill and intelligence. It is a solo job, the DJ is so "unique" that he is the only one that controls it all. The rock stars "banding" attribute is actually not as attractive because it resembles what primates do when they are sub-adult males. They pack. The DJ sparks instinctual circuits more related to a prime adult who has a established niche and maintains it. Rock stars, when they are succesful or at least getting demonstrations of "crazy" fan behavior will start to surpass the DJ in attractivness. The demonstration to the girl of being there just for them and watching othe people act out the emotions she feels is VERY powerful. I won't get into the psychology of it but id say a mid popular band will probably pull girls harder.. maybe.
The DJ as well sparks the artist switch, though perhaps less strongly then the rock star. At its peak though the two are indistinguishable. At lower levels they both pull hard but at least you get paid as a DJ and you dont have to divide it between 4+ people and buy 4+ people gear for doing the same job.
This allows you to advance faster and actually do it alot because it pays better then most peoples day jobs, hour for hour. You get invited to the partys, if your smart your pad can be the occasional after hours party (make sure you have a GOOD stereo and set list so you dont have to pull out your decks at home after the gig unless you really want to. Leaving decks unattended is ASKING for drunk asses to try and play with them, fuck up the music, spill drinks, whatever. you can feasibly deal with this by getting insurance on your gear (its cheap) but... Id rather my gear be back in its coffin, safe, protected waiting for its one master to put it to use. DJ gear, like a photographers camera, a samurai's sword is a personal commitment. It must be maintained, protected, cared for and ONLY, if ever, used by others under certain circumstances.
Anyways, enough blah blah blah, DJs pull too.
