FREE Infield Coaching! Thunderbear

I was very lucky to get a random call from Venusian Arts recently. For FREE INFIELD COACHING - I was wondering what the catch was - none whatsoever!

It seems that the trainee Coaches over a 6 month period have to not only demonstrate their pickup abilities, but also their Coaching skill. So they have a scheme where each coach in addition to supporting at bootcamps must clock up 50 hours of FREE coaching to the community - and get feedback.

So here is my feedback.

We started out with an introduction session. Thunderbear helped me define my goals for the program... I have been gaming before, so I had no issues with approaching and opening. Instead I needed to get better with telling DHV stories and create more attraction.

Thunderbear understood my needs and pushed me even further. Later that day, we went out and Thunderbear demonstrated with a few sets where he told lots of great DHV stories. At that point I started to realize what I was doing wrong, and started approaching my own sets and telling stories. Thunderbear was nearby and gave me GREAT feedback! I could sense the improvement from one set to another. My key issues were with body language and telling more exciting stories, and Thunderbear gave me some very practical ideas on how to change this.

The next day we continued with a feedback session where Thunderbear told me what to start doing, what to stop doing and what to continue. Great way of structure! Later that night we continued, and Thunderbear did some great demonstrations in larger sets. He really knows how to tell great DHV stories! At one point there were two girls all over him, and he isolated them BOTH away from the large group. That was amazing! He's great at creating instant attraction and also handling the logistics, and quickly isolating.

I can only recommend him. I have been out since then a few times and can see how it has developed my game. So the guy creates great results.

Thunderbear contacted me because I had signed up on the website. Apparently the trainee coaches need to complete 50 hours of free coaching as part of their requirements to become a qualified VA 360 coach. I thought this was almost too good to be true, and I immediately agreed to a 1on1 with him the following weekend.

This is the rewiew of my 1on1 session with Thunderbear.

The friday afternoon started out by Thunderbear and I meeting up at a terrace café.
He asked me how I would like to improve. I had almost no knowledge of the game what so ever.
I explained about my problems with approach anxiety and my fear of beautiful women as well.
Thunderbear understood and recognized my feelings very specifically, and he made me relax about my issues. We decided to go with only 1 opener with DHV, followed by a humour gambit and the 5 questions test. So it did not become too much to remember in the field.

We met up later that night in an area surrounded with little bars with low music and where girls were mostly over 25+ of age. It was a perfect training court.
Thunderbear was right behind me all the time, and then I jumped right in to it. After each set Thunderbear greeted me with encouragement and very useful feedback.
The way Thunderbear made me aware of my little mistakes motivated me instead of the opposite. It was briliant coaching.
When the 4 hours were complete I had opened 8 sets, gone into comfort with 5, and even got the number of the nicest one of them.
Thunderbear did a perfect wing job. He entertained the friend/s when he noticed my target. And some of his feedback made me feel like a "the sky is the limit"-guy.
That night I went home as high as a nonne on heroine for the first time... My mind was expanding that night. What am I really capable of? Is this the beginning of the life I always wanted?
And how do I break up with my girlfriend in a nice way?? :D

Saturday:
We met up at a sushiplace in the afternoon where we reviewed and he gave me thorough feedback on the night before. He taught me a model that I will continue to use every time I am out in order to continually improve. We also added some new routines to my toolbox.
Our first venue that night was a night club with very loud music and dancing peops everywhere.
My energy that night was affected by me worrying about how to end my relationship with my girl. I was not in the mood for picking up girls or to be interesting that night.
But I succeded to hook some sets anyway. But it was harder in a nightclub compared to bars. The problem is that no matter how high I spoke (or shouted) they still went "What?"
And some of them were on drugs and impossible to control :). But I asked Thunderbear for a demonstration on how to open a group with guys included.
He went to a table and opened from the side of his body. Within 1 minute he was seated. And after 10 min or so he had isolated one of the girls to the bar.
That night I had many factors for me to be unsuccesfull.. But I am well aware of why.. So it's no big deal.. I'm single now and nothing can stop me next time! ;).
