i need some canned openings

im reading the mystery method, and he is allways saying use an opening then goin into another opening or canned material. i have neither and i thought the book would provide me with some but i have yet to find it. so i would like your thoughts on openers and canned material. thnx

There are plenty of canned openers. Like the "floss, before or after you brush?" or "who cheats more boys or girls?" but usually these canned ones don't let you transition naturally into a DHV routine. So it is best to come up with your own. It is not as hard as it sounds. First think of interesting things that have happened to you. Now create a question that can be based on and lead into that story. Come up with as many of these openers as possible and you can use them as a fail safe in the middle of a set if conversation dies.
