Heya all, sorry I haven't written that much since we've been SUPER busy the past few months with several different projects that we will soon be unveiling.
Anyway, in the meantime, just to give some free value, I want to show you guys a video that I made to help guys fix up their apartment to help them get laid. It's free, and you can view it here:

Check it out, and let me know what you think at lovedrop@venusianarts.com
Hey Lovedrop, kudos on the product placement at 3:51 ;)

Love the lighting.
Ditto the lighting idea is awesome, watching this has made me reconsider some of the plans I've made for my place.

A moment of incongruence: Everything is clutter-free... but then a shoe randomly appears?
Girls see through that and it'll speak to her.

Great advice, Lovedrop. The lack of clutter is absolutely essential.
I had never thought of aiming the light at something nice and making that the light source for the room. Great idea.

I agree with Dynamism.
Also, I think the idea of a random woman's shoe would covey the idea I'm a player...which we may be...but most women I think would be turned off by that message.
Also, who leaves with one shoe anyhow? It raises too many questions and conveys the wrong messages I think.
Other than that, I thought the video was great...good ideas and well thought out.

I live with four other guys, two of which are big slobs, so it would be very hard for me to create a great presentation like that. The only thing I can really do would be to recreate my own room with your ideas in mind. I'd have to buy all new furniture, since mine is very old. My room is also pretty small, so I'd have to downgrade the size of the furniture. I currently have an unnacceptable twin size bed, because I have a huge computer desk taking up a quarter of the space.
Also, where can we get those spotlights on the walls, Walmart?

A good message to send that is often overlooked is the crib. I moved into my new place in NY this summer in a new cool condo building that is an office building conversion right across from the NY stock exchange. It was designed by the well known designer Phillipe Starck. He did an incredible job in designing the common areas that blow girls away when they come over. For those interested the website is www.downtownbystarck.com.
Anyways, not shown on the website and just off the elevators in the lobby is a room that is done in all gold. Floor, ceilings, walls, furniture, etc. The girls literally sprint to this room when they see it. Before getting to it, they've already been greeted by the doorman, walked past an incredibile chandelier (shown in the website and one of the largest in NYC) and a framed mirror that is 30 feet long and 9 feet tall. Walking through the lobby gets them incredibly worked into a great state and screams that they are with a high value male.
I've hired a decorator who is working with me that will not lessen the impact that girls get coming through the lobby upon entering my apartment. My first night having girls come over they stayed the whole night and both my wing and I hooked up, with the only problem being that there were four girls and the other two were disappointed that there were not more men for them.
In addition to what the video shows, girls love big mirrors, I've got a 6 ft floor mirror in my place. They will all take turns checking themselves out in it. Have living things that show you can take care of things...ie water your plants. And have interesting things in your place that show your value.
Plus, get a maid. Have her come over once or twice a month so that showers, toilets, windows, floors are clean and there is not a layer of dust on everything. It doesn't cost that much relative to the benefit. It is congruent with good grooming and such.

Wow, what a lovely looking place. If I was in the city you can bet your ass I'd be trying to get into a place like that. And kudos on the mirror observation, I'm gonna look into getting a nice big one now.
But adding to the importance of clutter-free, this past week I've spent virtually every day making my house (3 bedroom half-townhouse shared with my older brother) less cluttered, more clean and organized looking, and my ex came over to pick up some things that I found lying around today...she walked in and couldn't believe what she was seeing - it was like she didn't want to leave when I gave her the stuff...practically had to push her out the door lol.

I uhm...I hated this actually guys.
I thought the whole appartment seamed almost...try hard. It looked like the set for a porno. I'm not doubting Lovedrops skill at all but I think that appartment screamed "COME IN. I'M ROMANTIC" and I think it's gotta be more subtle than that.
The lighting was creapy...seriouslly, I guess it might work, but when it's hard to see, I think girls would pick up on that. It's like you planned on having women over in a compulsive way. The fact that the lighting is so awefull I think is what really ruined the look. If a girl see's that the lighting is bad that would send signals flying "He's prepared this" and I think you need a less 'reactive' look per se.
I don't know if that's understandable, but that's my bit.

Place looks awesome and is great for impressing a female and making her feel at home and comfortable and then starting a relationship with her.
But for a one night stand. That place is really bad. You dont want the girl to feel as if she can stay, you want her to know that this is a place of business and its time to get out after we are done.
If it is stocked like a hotel, then she'll treat it like one!

Due to it being a video, the room looks a lot darker than it really is. The human eye is a lot better at adjusting to light levels than a video camera, and I'm certain it looks a lot less dark in real life.
The stuff Lovedrop mentions is all basic interior design, really. Lighting sources should generally not point directly at area of room it's supposed to light up (the exception being reading lights). Letting it bounce off something, be it just white walls or ceilings, or some nice art, gives a much better atmosphere. As for lighting art pieces, there's a reason there exists specialised light sources for this. It looks good.
Candles create a lovely and relaxed atmosphere. They also have a pleasant smell, especially if you go the extra step and buy scented ones. Candles and mirrors go well together - if you can get a small table mirror, you can put some of those short, thick candles (think like tealights, only taller and without the metal) on top of it for a cool effect.
Art is important. Unless you're going for a minimalist style, large areas of bare wall doesn't look good. You want to fill these areas up with something. Original pieces of art are best, of course, but if you don't have any, and can't afford any either, then some framed prints work well. Framed photographs blown up in size are not a bad idea, either, and for the right style can work just as well as original art. Even non-framed posters are better than nothing (I regret to say, I have a poster hanging on my wall. It's framed, though, and that makes it a bit better. Hey, I'm a student, I don't have money. I have a lovely sister, though, who's an artist, and thus I have some really neat pieces hanging around).
In conclusion, the video was a good view. Worth taking notice of. It's the one point of the venusian arts I feel I have a pretty good control of, though.

Pretty good ideas!
One thing I was wondering...I had actually wondered about the answer since this one girl had come over and there were old tampons in my bathroom. The house I live in is my grandparent's old place since they passed.
She found them and wondered why I had them. I hadn't even thought about it...couldn't be my grandmother's..lol. Maybe my aunt's? But my aunt moved out of the house a while ago. Maybe just there for emergency?
Anyway, Lovedrop had tampons in the bathroom, but what if she asks why you have tampons?
I was thinking of some possibilities...they're left over from when your ex came over, when you were together (maybe not a good idea?) or just because you have them for when your female friends are over, like for parties or something?
What do you guys think? Lovedrop?

shoe by the couch makes no sense I have actually had this happened and the girl questioned me for like 15 mins...I said it was my friends
If the girl was questioning the shoe, even if she sounded upset, then bingo - you've just established a jealousy plotline, provided you didn't try to back out of it. That's the point of it - to show that you've got other women around, so your target will feel more compelled to "win you over", even if there's no one to win you from.

Guys seriously stop using area 51.
If you have videos you want to show, put them on you tube.
Area 51's servers are really bad. I have now been waiting for 8 mins on a fast connection and the video has not even started.
On top of that, if you want to download the whole video before you start to play it to avoid latency, you can't. With youtube it's easy you just hit the pause button at the beginnning and the video downloads in the background and you just hit play when it's finished.
Not possible with area 51. Quit using it!!
Just put it on youtube.

Hmm.. When I walk into my apartment I always take my shoes off. The girl usually follows suit. I guess the only time when she isn't sure what to do is when she has sandles on. I invite her that she can leave them on (since most of my floor is hardwood but I do have a rug in front of my sofa).

Was a good video to touch on something that is VERY important but often overlooked. It is an essential way to DHV. I live in a high class apartment complex and realized how much it helps. Some view it as materialistic but women are attracted to social status. No matter where you live keep it clean. Women do not want a man they feel they have to spend their life picking up after.
Great tips on the lighting, plants, taking the shoes off, lack of clocks, and the assortment of alcohol. I need to work on the lighting and the plants myself, on my to-do list. Definately do the assortment of alcohol! On the shoes like the last post I just tell them to take their shoes off at the door because I have plush, clean, white carpet. Taking off your shoes makes you relaxed. I am a college kid and my roommate is as well so we just eat at the bar (the bar that is in the apartment, not the club) so the need for a dining table isn't necessary so I have a bowflex. I bought the bowflex intending to use it but I do not like resistance lifting and I haven't sold it because it looks good. I am noticeable that I work-out so it just helps affirm it. It portrays that you take care of your health which is a plus. With the misplaced shoe... be creative! I don't use a shoe but instead I use a bathing suit. Since my apartment has a pool and a hot tub makes a great reason to why it was left. You can do shoes, dresses, bathing suit, make-up, brush, even a woman's magazine.

Something I thought of while cleaning my place last night. I don't recall this mentioned in the video, I could have missed it...but pictures hung up with yourself and others hanging out...preferably you and women...but mixed groups too would be a good idea I think.

Anything out in the open that stands out and has an interesting story with it that gives DHV spikes is great to put out and things that show your interests. I have some funny things in my apartment that friends have given me, things I got from different countries I have been to. To promote my interests I have a huge movie display, huge cd display (I keep it out even though everything is on my Ipod), I leave out books and magazines (keep the playboys hidden).

A few questions:
I found where to buy the spot light shown at 8:35 remaining. Where these the same light fixtures that were used on the ground for the yellow and red lights?
How did you produce the different colors?
At 1:02 remaining what is that plant standing on, and where can I buy one?
I was asking around for a "plant pedestal" with no luck.
I didn't take before shots, but anyone want to see a video of what my place looks like after watching this?

Hey guys, i'm new to the site (not new to PUA).
As somebody has already mentioned it seems very try hard. It's like he had planned it all out and would make her feel pressured with what he might now be expecting from her. Maybe the aim was to create this mood as she's there E.G - Have the main light on when you arrive and as you get drinks etc say "Hey, i'm gonna turn the main light off. It's too bright in here." And then turn on the other lights. Maybe even add "Don't get any ideas though missy" if you feel that she could become unconfortable by changing the lighting.
The candles look very try hard though. Indeed they look awesome but not for a HB first arriving at your place.
I like the idea behind the shoe for pre-selection but as someone else has pointed out, yeah why would someone leave with only one shoe lol. I have a toy rifle in my room in the corner with a pink ribbon for a sling. When HB's ask why i've got it i tell them "A girl i know left it here. Her sister had a 'Gangsta' theme birthday when they hit the town." This shows pre-selection in a non-direct way because the HB had to ask what it was. It shows i'm involved with women and that she must have stayed over later that night because she wouldn't have gone out without it. It's a true story too :)
Also great transformation LoveDrop, you've changed alot. Keep it up ;)
