Ok so here is my issue...in another thread i posted i explained how i am new to the community. my question is, am i a little too late? i watch the VH1 show and think, wow that shit is so smooth...but now i feel like..its on VH1, and anyone can see it!!!! so im thinking to my self...now if i try something like that...someone is bound to recognize it and humiliate me or make me feel stupid..what do you guys think?

Chill out chicken little. Dont use routines that appear on the show and you should be fine, even if you do use the routines on the show its very unlikely youll be called out on it. If you do just laugh at her and tell her shes probably trying to pick you up. I had a situation like that and now I call her a "PUA" on a regular basis and shes actually programmed into my phone as "PUA".

The show is probably good. It's going to force true PUAs to become more natural, which is always a good thing.
I would rather be 70% and natural than 90% and almost completely canned.

The Real Secret To Pick UP is NOT the Lines, It's all about inner game. Picture This, You Go on a Date watch a movie and somebody in that movie says something really funni, and ironically u and ur date happen to be in the same situation that the characters in the movie was in. ANd u USE that LINE that the character used in the movie to bust on her or watever, it is still funni, Why? is it recall Humor? mayb, but more importantly it's who u are who made it funni.(easy goin people and people with humor would pull this shit off because that's who THEY are. Someone whos' serious or ridgid would not even think about doin it, But hey that's what inner game is. It's about Self Improvement. inner game to me in a nutshell is basically IF your not that person who can make people enjoy your company; ur Goal is to become that person who can. ANd BE AUTHENIC about it) well I i tried to simplify inner game for you, but Inner game is way more complex then this. i'm not about to break it down for you, but There is alot of threads on this site which are good for inner game.

You can still use the routines that appear on the show, if you can appear congruent using them, and can handle the shit tests that MAY follow then use them.

You can also try taking some of these routines and putting YOUR OWN spin on them.

shit dude. I use things that I see on TV just for the sole reason it WAS on tv.
