I'm one who likes to make fun of myself to make people feel easier around me in terms of becoming a mPUA is this just the epitome of DLV or can this actually work?? I welcome any and all responses...

I've heard several mPUAs talk about the importance of showing vulnerability and a more human side. Self-deprecating humor is one way that you can do this. HOWEVER, it is important to do this ONLY in the comfort phase IMO. You don't want to walk up and start to DLV immediately. You show your flaws after you've already attracted her -- to show her that you're not too good to be true.

I heard Lovedrop talk about how some guys will intentionally DLV as a way of telegraphing non-interest, like by saying "I'm getting so fat!" In a way, it's like a DHV hidden within a DLV because while you are talking negatively about yourself you are also disqualifying yourself as a potential suitor.

I think this can be done -- it's just all in the delivery (like always). If you do it in a cocky and funny kind of way it'll work -- if you do it wrong, you'll come off like you have low self-esteem and are seeking validation.

That makes sense. I mean you don't want to turn a girl off right away but at the same time you do want to show some sort of vunerability to show that you are just like everybody else. Thanks for the advice!

It depends on how it's delivered. You don't want to DLV without having a hidden DHV in it. Its called self-disqualifying. Juggler is really good at it, he uses very human emotions and conversation skills rather than DHV spikes within stories.
