1 on 1 bootcamp with Matador (3days/3nights)
First of all, I want to say that I consider Matador the best PUA (no disrespect to Mystery & Lovedrop) and that is because he uses the Mystery Method (which is a complete method) and also especially his caveman/mayhem style. There was no doubt in my mind after all the research that I did that even though the 1 on 1 with Matador is super expensive (because it is!!!) that I wouldn’t be wondering if I got the best one could get. Matador will train you so good that he even makes sure you understand what he talks about (he’ll test you) before you go in the field and it will be up to you if you want to apply it or not
So the first day he picked me up from the hotel and we went to a coffee shop. He asked me if I knew what some acronyms mean and some other questions about the Mystery Method just to know if I could understand him when he talks about it. He asked me if I brought a notepad and pen and told me to take notes. (I won’t be posting material/information for obvious reasons). So he started talking and asking me questions to see if I understood the material and I also asked him a lot of questions and to demo about the lecture (He did and that’s when I knew I was going to get my money worth).
After a couple of hours we went to the mall to eat and open sets (I studied the MM with videos/audios/books/forums but I didn’t have that much experience in the field so I had AA). Then he asked me to open and I couldn’t (I just felt more AA than any other day). He opened sets and told me that is not a big deal after several sets he asked me to open but I couldn’t do it. So he opened again and basically threw the set to me and forced me to continue with the opener. I had a good reaction with the set and that gave me confidence. He threw me a couple of more sets until I was confident enough to open my own sets. Then he opened a hot chick from the cosmetology section and had her to look for a piece a paper and pen, write her number while we were leaving so she chased him with her phone number. So we got out of the store and he threw the piece of paper with the hot chick’s number to the trash can and I asked him “are you fkn serious?” and he just said “is not my type” then I started getting a headache thinking how much work is going to take me to get to that level…
During that time Matador corrected/helped me a lot. I had a lot of sets that couldn’t understand what I was saying. English is my second language and supposedly I was talking fast and not clear even though in my mind I thought I was talking in normal speed and clear. Since then I have better communication in PU/work/friends basically with life.
I got back to the hotel with just enough time to eat and get ready for the club. Went outside to get in Matador’s escalate and I noticed there were people in so I opened the back door and first thing I see is Lovedrop (I was like wow) I get in and in the copilot seat I see Mystery (woow). I couldn’t believe it (I thought I was dreaming). I our way to the club Mystery and Lovedrop were asking me about my openers and discussing if they would work. Unfortunately Lovedrop had plans with his girlfriend so we got to the club and he took Matador’s vehicle.
We got in the club (VIP) and Matador tells me to pay attention. Mystery starts talking to a mix set of one girl and two guys. Matador goes to the set and he starts talking to the two guys then he moves them a couple of feet away and leaves Mystery alone with the target. He did the same thing for Mystery a couple of times and he tells me to open. I opened a couple of sets, they hooked but I left them. I didn’t have the confidence to do kino and escalate. When I was opening sets Matador was next to me correcting me in my body language and the way I was talking.
Then I started opening by myself and when I went back to look for Matador and Mystery they were talking to a group of girls. Mystery introduced me to his target and let me talk to her for a while (a cute tall blonde) after a couple of minutes I noticed IOIs from different girls that were not in the set. So I left and started opening again the rest of the night. There was a set that I was talking to (two girls) and Matador was a couple of feet away looking what I was doing. Suddenly one little girl pass by and tell my set that I am a pick up artist and pointed to Matador and said that he is teaching me.
I was like WTF and the set told me to leave, I didn’t know what to say so I told Matador what happened and he went right to my set and started taking to them. They told him to leave too and they know what he does, so Matador kept talking to them. A few minutes later both girls started touching Matador and giving him IOIs then later he explained me what he did and what to do in those cases. (I honestly didn’t think that set was going to hook). After the club we went to eat dinner talked about what I did right/wrong then Mystery wanted to go to a strip club but Matador said no because we had a lot to train the next day …
On the second day we went over more theory (new topics) and demos (how to properly kino). At night time in our way to the club Mystery was telling me that I can use his wing girl at anytime (Oh yeah, Mystery came with us again with a singer/model). We went to a nicer club and they told me to walk around with the wing girl and ask her any questions. So I asked Matador to do some demos for me and he opened this set (two girls) by walking slow towards the set and kissing the hot one in slow motion. The set started giggling and Puff the set was open with attraction included.
I couldn’t believe it so I ask him to do it again, he said ok. He opened another two set the same way in slow motion, but now he kissed both girls and they started giggling (just like the first one). I was like WTF, he didn’t say or do anything special so I asked him how does he do that (he told me he’ll teach me the next day and he did.) I opened a two set and one of the girls asked me if I was a PUA and that she read the game.
The other girl didn’t know what was she talking about, so I did what Matador taught me the night before and I rolled off. Went back with Matador, Mystery, and the wing girl they were talking to a four set. They introduced me and after five minutes my previous set (the girl that read the game) wanted to talked to me so I started talking to the two set by teasing them then Mystery came in to give me value and to tell me that he’s going to have an after party at his house (Hollywood Hills) so I can invite my two set (by the way they were two cute rookie actresses). So I gave the address to my two set to meet me there, Mystery had girls already at his house, and Matador stole somebody’s girlfriend (I kind of felt bad for the boyfriend). Anyway, we got to the house and a girl from my two set wanted to go to the bathroom. I took her there and we started making out then I asked the wing girl to talk to the girl that I took to the bathroom so I could isolate the other girl (they didn’t want to be separated) and right when I was about to make out with her too I just heard POW! Matador tacked some club promoter, they were getting into a fight and party was over.
Sunday we went over more theory and also took me shopping for my avatar. We went to these stores that a shirt costs you an arm and a leg. So a super hot playmate was shopping there too. Matador was helping me pick some shirts and at the same time he was telling me what happened last night with his girl so the playmate could hear him. After I got my outfit together (with a couple of feet away from the playmate) I asked Matador if my avatar looks cool and he replied with an Indian accent (“You should ask that hottie”) the playmate smiled and said that I look good. Then before we left Matador with a don’t care attitude/hanged over/I’m pretty sure he didn’t even took a shower because he was wearing the same outfit, he tells the playmate “Hey why don’t you give me your number so I can holla you sometime” and she replied with no hesitation “Ok” . Later he explained me that everything had to do with our conversation that she was listening to.
Sunday night I was so tired that I wasn’t really in a mood to open. Mystery came with us again and he showed me how to pick up a hot rocker style girl. Matador was helping me get in state and finally I open some sets at the end. Got some numbers but decided to focus in having a good with Matador and Mystery and see them in action is priceless.
In conclusion I paid a lot of money but I got my money’s worth no doubt. Did the bootcamp help me? Hell yeah. Did I go from zero to hero? Nope, but I know the path. It took me a couple of months to write my review and during that time I took two more bootcamps with other recognized PUAs and those bootcamps made Matador bootcamp look even better (Matador is way up there from others so called gurus). I will never forget all his help because he is not only a good master PUA he is also a good person (he cares for his students). Overall I don’t think you can get better training than this, Muchas Gracias Matador!
