I was thinking about buying the 5 volume DVD set, but $300 is kinda pricy without reading a review first.
Anyone that has this set, was it worth the money?

well i cant say i'll give a full review for all da dvd's as av only watched the first 2 so far but here's how it goes.
Mystery goes through all his method adding in sum interesting stories about his own life the are quite funny and unqiue there is a quite alot on teaching how to tell great storys u even get mystery play around with a pen and sum paper!..
I would say go for it, actually seeing him performing some of the material like the canned lines really helps. Its no David D in terms on presentation but its just as good on material.

Actually I found a huge thread reviewing them on MM.com's forums.
There are so many different communities (forums) relating to pickup on the internet, I really need to pick one and stick with it.

He explains his method very well, but the canned material is at least 2 years old and some of it have been given away in the VH1 show.
There is also the argument that the DVD set is not sold by VA and Mystery no longer receives any royalty from it.
If you are paying $300 for a DVD set, why not pay more and attend a live seminar instead?

It looks like the live seminars are a lot more expensive. The DVD feedback was pretty much all positive, so I bit the bullet and bought the set.
I ordered the DVDs a couple of weeks ago and just finished watching through them.
There is a lot of GREAT information on the DVDs and they are a great reference to go along with a book like The Mystery Method or The Game.
Unfortunately, the material on each DVD kinda jumps around and repeats itself on a number of topics...I have learned a lot watching them however..

MM.com is no longer associated with Mystery. Therefore, purchasing any items from MM does not help VA or anyone related. Mystery has given so much to this community and to not support him would be crazy. The bootcamps are more than worth the expense. All of the instructors are fantastic and will show you WAY more than the DVDs.

I don't want to turn this topic into a MM.com discussion. I do think it's BS that people are making money off of Mystery's name and ideas just because they applied for a copywrite first. But this is discussed on another thread.
Someone PM'd me on this forum and I bought the set used from them at a discount. I thought the DVD's were really good and I'm glad I got them.
However, I've always learned faster reading on my own than listening to a professor in a classroom, which is what the format is like. If $300 is a lot of money for you, I would say stick to the Internet and cheap books. There's SO MUCH free or really cheap information out there. These $70-a-peice DVDs are a little pricey for the amount of content.

One of the things I like about a DVD, CD, or Podcast kind of material, is that you can listen to it before going to sleep, or while driving, or on a plane flight. I like books, but I also like these other materials.
The discussions about body langauge and movements are easier to follow and understand when you can see the instructor while they teach. This would also support the value of attending classes in person.

Most stuff he covered in DVD are in his book "The Mystery Method: How to get beautiful girls into bed" it covered M3 model much more in depth and will help you remember material much better. Highly recommend the book

the DVD package is outstanding. it isn't cheap, in the long-term, the stuff is really worth it...The thing about books is: you get all the theory and its really inspiring. But seeing Matador, Mystery and Lovedrop performing that stuff (they show you exactly HOW do deliver all that theory on the DVDs) is eye-opening and makes the difference between having just an idea in your head how it has to be done and how it really has to be done. you won't see the world with the same eyes. :-) the downside: the camera work and some cuts are dissapointing. But see for yourself:
