For the treatment of eyesight defects, one can go through the route of YOGA. It is helpful even in the cases where all other measures fail. Ancient Eastern culture (using yoga asanas) has provided us with various techniques to improve human vision; some of which include relaxing, pranayam, cleansing, eye muscle exercises, meditation, and mental vision.

The main key to improve your eyesight is to keep yourself relaxed without any mental strain, but there are certain yoga exercises also.

HERE ARE THE USEFUL TIPS:

(1) First of all, you should sit upright keeping your eyes open.

(2) Look at a point straight to your nose in front of you and then look at a point on the floor, but do not move your head. Without moving your head, roll your eyes upwards and downwards at least four times. Blink your eyes rapidly after the completion of this exercise.

(3) Now roll your eyes sideways, i.e., left and right. Blink your eyes rapidly after this too.

(4) Now roll your eyes diagonally upwards and downwards. Blink your eyes rapidly again.

(5) Then close your eyes for some time.

(6) After one week of this exercise, roll your eyes in a circular way like, top, right, down, left, etc.

#This will help improve your eyesight. Do this for one month and see the results.

Chi alone should be enough.. I still need to give it a try.. that technique by itself is pointless, stretching the muscles around my eyes won't change the fact my eye is not perfectly spherical and I get short sight. Energy healing instead does work.. I will let you know if I get any results.

Eyes can be kept healthy with regular practice of yoga techniques... its has been said that people put away their spectacles or lenses after a few month dedicated yoga eye exercises.....

I've recently found out about a very simple practice (simple compared to say NLP) called EFT (Emotional Freedom Tapping). It uses some very basic acupuncture principles mixed with some very simple NLP techniques to release negative beliefs and emotional blocks. You don't use needles, you use tapping, on a small set of points, while addressing the issue. It's so simple that you can actually learn to use it with a couple of videos on youtube, tho there are some more advanced things to it to learn. Anyway, been using this for not so long, I hear a lot of people have reported sight improvement tho they weren't even trying to heal that. It came as a bonus. My understanding is that short sightedness may come because of some negative emotion trapped somewhere, shyness for example. Later in life, you may overcome shyness yet the physical manifestation (short sightedness in this case) usually remains. Well, give it a try, might as well be the best simplest self transformational tool in a PUA's bag of tricks ;)
