Okay, so today I actually got the balls to try out some stuff while sitting in the Student Center and taking a break from the DDR tourney that I was in. So as I'm sitting there I see this HB (7.5ish) from my American History class that morning. I so open up with the whole "So what did you think of the Professor?" routine and eventually the convo turned to Psychology, I start talking about how I'm taking the class and she says she's interested. I immediately cut to "The Cube" routine and she plays along. While she did understand most of the stuff I said because of her interest, she had never had it run on her. So as i'm explaining she's going for it.
So for the next half hour we just talked (I couldn't bring myself to neg her...baby steps, and it's not like she's going anywhere) and every time the
convo started to die, she would save it by asking about me (the whole you are the ultimate prise thing) so I took that as an IOI. She eventually had to
leave and take her home and I went to class feeling pretty pleased with myself. Then it was off to my Environmental Science class.
Thanks to DDR, I was late to class. I get there and the only seat left is a seat next to this HB (8 at least, so I guess all the guys in my class are pretty chicken-shit). So I sit my spikey ass down and start pulling th cocky funny stuff to get some giggles out of the few people sitting around me. Works like a charm. Later on, I coupled it with some stuff I actually knew about the class as DHV hoping to possibly set up a study session in the future. I kept her smiling the whole class ^_^
I didn't press either for a number, after all i'll see them again. Feedback and suggestions appriciated. Please also note that is my first time so be gentle :D
