So I've only had a few average results but I just wanted an opinion on the opener I used tonight. About 99% of the sets I approached(for practice sake male and female) were German. One of the biggest hurdles I have encountered is that I don't speak German. Germans are taught english in school so I thought "Why not use that to my advantage instead of the other way around?" Here's how it goes.
You: Just about any opener you can think of (make it decent cause they'll either see right through it or they really do know english and they're playing dumb).
Her: (Something in German, I can't understand it.)
You: Hey, I know you were taught english in school, why not try to be polite.
Her: She'll say just about any random thing, be ready to somehow dismiss it and throw in your frame.
Now teach her a lesson in manners(this seemed to work best when there was a guy in the group). Hold out your hand for a handshake. Most of the time the guy will take it and you open him just like any normal male obstacle. Pass your hand along, typically your target, and usually one or two others in the set, will not take it. Since you know, and she knows you know, that she speaks english
You: Where I'm from it's polite to shake a hand given to you(neg).
Offer to the male(or one that originally accepted) again. Once she takes it tell her that she has a good, firm/limp, fish grip and either teach her proper handshake etiquette(DHV if done right) or move to her friend(male or female) and compliment their handshake(IOD at the target while DHV'ing at the same time).
From there it's on you to hook and continue. I can't get a hook, but I'm new so maybe y'all will have more success.
Opinions?
