I've heard they're useful for dealing with last minute resistance, but what are they and how do they work?

Riker's 3 Rules is a LMR-blasting material

1. Protection-She feel safe and open with you. She knows she won't be hurt physically nor emotionally and her "reputation" won't be compromised.
2. Something we both want to do-Self explanatory.
3. It has to be something that the next day that she is going to have to be glad you both did it-No buyer's remorse.
