What does everyone think about a buzzcut for an oval shaped head?
I do not mean a short buzz, but a 4 or 5.
The reason I am thinking of this is because the cost, it will be a one time price (I will buy the clippers) and being a college student, I need to save money so I can afford to actually go out to clubs and buy some new clothes (I am revamping my wardrobe with most of my spare cash).
I do not have a camera right now either so I dont have any pics

I dunno man.
I had a shaved head my entire life up until about 8 months ago. Since then, I haven't cut my hair. I've noticed that I get way more attention from girls now that I have long hair. It's a cool conversation piece and you can really use it to convey your personality.
Although I used to shave my own head (I'm in college too) and it was pretty darn easy/cheap, I still say it's just as easy and cheap to not cut your hair and get yourself a mop top goin :D
If you do decide to shave it, hit up Wal-Mart or somewhere similar and get a Wahl clipper set. They're around $20 and, if you take care of them, last a loonnng time. Good luck!

As long as you project confidence and a strong frame when you enter a set the hair wont matter. It all comes down to if you are confident with your appearance, and when you are others will pick up on it and wont question you.

It really depends on what you look like. The better looking you are in other aspects, the less important your hair is. Right now I have chin-length curly hair, but as I used to keep my head shaved bald for about four years. Girls liked both, and a lot of it is determined by the image you want to portray. A 4 or 5 is probably not going to look great all over. So I suggest learning to fade, or getting someone to do it. It's a lot harder to get an even cut by yourself than you would think using clippers. If you post pics we can probably help you out better.

Oval shaped is the ideal. But what does your face look like?
