Yeah, it's fun to make an intro thread.

Most of y'all know me, I'm a 17-year-old from Toronto, Canada. I'm heading the All Routines/Knowledge At Your Fingertips eBook project that is going to come out within a month, and I'm also a speaker at this summer's Under-21 Convention.

Thought I'd say Hi and let you guys know that the eBook will probably either be released exclusively on here, or here first and then on the "Attraction" forums a week or two later. Why? Because they annoy me. ;)

Now, let's have some fun, and help one another out.

Wow, so you use our forums to build the collective works you're releasing in 'your' ebook, you post there on average twice a day. Not only did we support this effort but we stayed loose on the copyright crap for the thread because it was supposed to help everyone, not give you an ebook to promote your name or sell.

So you come here to complain..

I didn't "use" your forums to build the KeyNote, people from the community added to it. MysteryMethod did nothing to help me or to stop me in creating the file. The "Attraction" Forums are just a medium for PUAs to communicate, and share ideas. In this case, their ideas went into a collaborative work, that they knew full well was not associated with the MysteryMethod forums. All of the users that contributed to the collaboration will be given a pre-release rough copy of the eBook, and will also receive the final copy when I finish working on it.

My posting on the Attraction Forums has no bearing on your argument. I post there because it's a large forum, despite its downsides. Not because I'm infatuated with the company or anything.

Now, in terms of copyrights. I made sure that nothing in the eBook breaks any sort of copyright infringement. That is, all of the articles within the eBook are free material, released to the community by other members and pick up gurus. I noted in the first page that the M3 Model is copyrighted Mystery Method Inc., and that nothing within the eBook was promoted by the company itself. Thanks for the heads-up though.

Now, as to the promotion crap you mentioned. The eBook will be released free of charge. No money whatsoever will exchange hands, nor will any favours. The eBook will likely contain an advertisement for Venusian Arts Inc. that I have requested from them myself, in order to help them with their publicity, but I am doing this purely out of the goodness of my heart, with no desire to profit from it.

My decision to release the eBook exclusively has to do with my distaste for the politics going on at TheMysteryMethod, which are clearly benefiting nobody.

Maybe if the Attraction Forums stop censoring URLs, I'd post the link to the thread in this forum for people to download it. Quitting with the big-brother crap like reading private messages would help, too.

That's awesome, I don't think anyone suggested it was associated with the MM forums. We DID host it though as I remember you asking us in a couple pm's if that was alright. My response was to your "they annoy me. " comment. You did use the forums as i'm not sure where else you would have gotten so many guys to contribute. They are a medium for PUA's to communicate and a service WE offer to the world. Its awesome when you have a new place to complain at to put down the service you used and still use for so long.

Masters, I have nothing against you personally dude. You do a lot of great work on the forums, and keep the place running. Don't get personal, I'm not trying to start any kind of drama.

Actually, it's not really a servive you offer to the world. By posting on the Attraction Forums, users offer YOU a service. After all, if TheMysteryMethod were losing business of any sort through the public forum, it would cease to exist.
