Ha Ha I bet everyone was expecting pics of a dude dressed like a joke but sorry guys this is just information regarding where a LOT of people go wrong in peacocking.

I have come to realize that peacocking is more difficult than what most of us think. I have done some solid researching to back up my claims that the whole concept of peacocking as been warped & taken out of context & is now merely a freak show act.

I personally blame the guys who like to think they know it all for the miss-direction of peacocking & the poor guys with weak frames who listen to them. Some guys are just ignorant and if you ask them how to peacock they will just say “it’s easy, anyone can peacock, just wear something silly like a pink fluffy cowboy hat”. This is where I totally disagree. Yes wearing something as bold & off the wall as a pink fluffy cowboy hat will NO DOUBT get you attention but I can assure you that it will be the wrong type of attention if you are not congruent & comfortable wearing it (which will be the case for most of us).

The "greatest pickup artist in the world" can get away with looking like he’s from the moon because the way he acts/dresses is in alignment with his identity. Then you will get some guys thinking “maybe he does soo well with women because he dresses like that”, then they try to imitate him & dress like him & therefore they give peacocking a bad name in the community.

On my path of researching everything there was to know about peacocking, I found an amazing sample that I believe came from the book “The art of peacocking”. Hopefully this will help clear up the concept of peacocking.

“Sometimes guys think the best way to peacock is to dress like you are from the moon or dress like a woman. Peacocking as evolved in to guys going out dressing like they belong in a circus with some flat out ridiculous outfits. Guys have taken the whole meaning of peacocking way out of context. What most guys don’t realize is, if you are going to dress like a freak show but you are not congruent with it then you will get attention but the wrong type of attention. You MUST be congruent with your look otherwise you will just give off attention seeking vibes; therefore women will avoid you & see you as low value. When do you know when you are congruent with your identity?

Quite simple you will know if you are congruent with your identity by actually living that identity, I mean when you live, breathe, eat & sleep the person you want to become.

Some guys just peacock when they go to night clubs, like they dress off the wall & peacock to the max. Then they wake up nice & early the next morning & get ready for their boring office jobs. Usually this is the case & these boring office guys are just not congruent with the persona they are trying to portray in nightclubs.

A good way to internalize a new style is to dress that way all the time & actually start your journey to becoming that new identity. For instance, if you are a college student now but want to dress like a rock star, then by all means do soo BUT also actually get on the path to becoming an actual rock star.

It is really important also, that when you peacock, it must not be done in a way that suggests you are seeking attention/validation. People who are incongruent with their image usually fall in that trap. Also understand your environment. If you live in Hollywood then you could probably peacock to the max every night you go out & you won’t really look out of place, whereas you could peacock exactly the same as you would in Hollywood as in a place like Orange County & you would look like you are from the moon. Calibration is key.

That’s what inspired me to write this book because I seen soo many guys trying to peacock without the right knowledge & they ended up looking like try hard losers.

Peacocking doesn’t mean you have to have a fancy dress theme every time you go out. And just because you have many peacocking accessories it doesn’t mean you have to wear them all at once. DO NOT be the guy who believes peacocking is wearing every last one of his 27 necklace collection, it looks cheap & trashy. For instance one necklace is often enough.

Also peacocking is a personalised effect. Just because your Goth friend can pull off wearing black nail vanish, black eye liner, a cape, a big black fuzzy hat Etc, it doesn’t mean it would suit you too. Remember everyone has their own identity so personalise your own peacocking range.

This post has some value in it but still screams advertisement.

I assume your reffering to my old peacocking guides as well. To each his own, i rarely dress like that anymore but it sure as hell got me out of my comfort zone and on the right track for actually learning how to dress in the long haul.
