There are many times when a man isn't in the mood to talk to women. The problem with me is that this happens a lot to me. There is no particular scenery that I have to be in. There are many places that i just want to talk to women whether it be in the bar, the street, or even on the way to the bathroom in the gas station. But, I have to be in the mood. Does anyone know a good way to get in the mood? Because, when I am not in the mood, I will not approach women. It's not that I'm shy or anything. I just won't do anything. I don't know why. If anyone has any techniques that they use to get in the mood to do anything they want, help would be much appreciated.

Introversion is underrated and extraversion overappreciated.
Don't worry, you don't need to sarge ALL the time if that doesn't make you happy.
You can try to anchor a positive state and activate this anchor everytime you need it. Just some NLP idea;)

^Yeah, good point.
I myself have a couple of songs that usually get me going. Reading FR's sometimes helps too, and then there's this show called Keys to the VIP that's always an inspiration (though not much can be learned from it).

Damn! I should thought of that. I love listening to music. And every time I hear music, I get in the dancing mood. When I'm dancing I'm in such a good mood that i'll do anything.

Healthy sex drive is a good motivator too. I do not necessarily imply you jerk off. Health issues, constant stress etc. can kill the sex drive too AFAIR. So, take it as a friendly advice - if there's a factor influencing your negative mood, consider doing something about it.

You need to have a stock opener to use as your default opener for every set. You need to know this opener inside out like the palm of your hand and have it on the tip of your tongue at all times. Mystery uses the black nails opener as his default opener.
I use Mystery's 80s song opener as my default opener. Anytime I cant think of an opener, or am not in the mood to sarge, I just pop the "You spin me round..." song into my head and start singing it to myself, and open.
I wrote an article on this a while back. Learning some of these techniques can be very valuable. I reposted it here for you.

whoever did the introversion post should be bitch slapped.
the only REAL way to get in the mood is to do it.. repeadetlly, and do it even when you dont feel like it.

Taking a walk with a social robot? A guy could start singing "Sledgehammer" to himself.

i think this is lazyness. i'm hardly ever in the mood to write papers and read books, but you do it so you can gain something from it.
everytime i'm not in the mood to sarge it's a sign telling me that i HAVE to sarge. i try to do at least one set a day and somedays it's raining and i'm tired and all i want to do is go home and play xbox. those are the days where my mind says "yes you're tired and not in the mood, this means it's especially important to do one set".
if you train your mind not to open when you're not in the mood, you will become lazy and you wont have any consistency with sarging. and a lack of consistency will prevent you from getting better i think.
if you're not in the mood, then get in the mood. otherwise dont expect to progress.

lol. Did you even read the article? :)
It is NOT smart to sarge when you are not in the mood. By forcing yourself to sarge when you do not feel like it, you are associating those bad feelings when sarging. The more you sarge when you do not feel like it, the worse it will feel. The REAL way to get into the mood is to be able to naturally evoke the proper mood. If you decide to sarge ONLY when you are in the mood, YOU will associate those positive feelings with sarging - it MAKEs sarging easier and more enjoyable. IT is the REAL way to get in the mood.
And when you are really on fire, anchor those feelings so next time you are not in the mood, fire those anchors and evoke the mood.
Though, for some, initially may be a good idea to approach sets just to come to the positive realization that it is not a life threatening ordeal - which is programmed in our heads. Though the little negative association from this is cancelled by the positive revelation that you won't die when approaching.
I hope this helps,
Mojo
P.S. I read your introduction... *Please take this as sincere, constructive critism. I only mean to help. The profile is over-validating yourself to the board, thus lowering your value. Don't try so hard. Doing this in front of a set would kill it for you. I hope this helps, too.
