Hey everybody, I’m new to this site however I’ve been reading the posts daily for about the last two months. I’ll admit I am still pretty AFC but the advice I have read from you guys on this forum has really helped my out socially. Anyways, I got myself into a little problem and figured you guys could help me out. Here goes…
I’m 19 and in college. In the town I live in going to bars underage is not really a big deal though so I go frequently. Anyways…my friend called me up and invited me out with him and this girl, a friend (it actually turned out to be 4 guys and the girl but whatever). So we had fun, and I tried to be the most alpha on in the group.
Did not number close on this chick but two weeks later I facebooked her and asked if she wanted to go out again:
that would be awsome! thanks for the invite! my numbers *** *** **** so just give me a call and let me know what time and stuff. thanks again-im excited!!
So I go out to the bar…and get pretty drunk and end up focusing all my attention on some other girl and completely forget to call her. Next day I felt shitty and never called her back.
Fast forward a week…I get a call from her while I’m out at a party. She wants to hang out. I Say come over. She says okay, but then she never shows. (payback I dunno). But the texts me the next day.
Hb: Im sorry I didn’t started not feeling good after getting ready. I wanted to come and I don’t want you think im a flake!
Me: haha don’t worry about, I forgot to call you last time we went out
Hb: that’s right! We are totally even now!
Me:I will for sure call you next time we party
The very next day she sends a text that says:
Hb: So we going out tonight?
Me: yeah im down but I don’t know if you can keep up because I party pretty hard (trying to be c/f)
Hb: haha im an old pro (shes 23)
Me: I will call you later
Later I call her and agree to meet her out at 10:00
Okay so this is when I really messed up. And I am not particularly proud of doing this I feel like a total dick because I know she was waiting for me to take her out.
Me and some friends went over to this guys house for a little pregame. (I really need to stop drinking so much before I sarge). Basically I was shitting my pants cause I was nervous about finally hanging out with her again so I got too wasted and started throwing up. I figured if I called her and told her and cancelled again she would be pissed and kind of write me off. So in my drunken state I called her and this seemed smart at the time(which I know was really fucking stupid)
Hb: hello
Me: hey (in a sad voice), I got an MIP (minor in possession)
Hb: Oh my god! Are you okay? (sounding genuinely upset)
Me: yeah Im freaking out right now
Hb: I totally understand! Is there anything I can do for you? (I think that meant she wanted to come over cause she said it really suggestively)
Me: No I just want to go home, im going out of town this weekend but I will call you in a few days.
And the very night she posted on my wall “I hope you feel better” type of message.
Now I feel like a real dick. And I want to hang out with her because she is really hot and one of the coolest girls I’ve met. I need to tell her the truth because I know she is going to find out, we have the same friends.
I can see it going either way: she will just laugh it off, or maybe she will be like “wtf you’re weird”. I was planning on waiting until I saw her and she asked about it and then just playing it off in a funny way like it was no big deal.
But I really need help. Any suggestions. Thanks guys. Fortune
