Hey, I've just started learning about pickup. I really dont know if to go on a one on one with the pro PUA for the weekend which may cost alot of money or use StyleLife, which is cheaper but I may not get the same experience.
Would you guys mind enlightening me on which I would benefit more from as well as value for money?
Cheers

You should ask the StyleLife guys, namely Bravo, about StyleLife.
Do you really know who the Pros are?
If you are near DC, you are welcome to go sarging with Project DC.
If you have the means to pay for a particular guru of you choosing then "buy" one for a few sessions. Having someone point out things that you're not aware of with your behavior is eye opening. If not, and you're a real self-starter, then Stylelife IS the bomb. I haven't seen anything as thorough as Stylelife as a kind of online academy training for the social arts. I tried it for a while, and Style REALLY breaks it down into small chunks so you can learn effectively and remember for the rest of your life what you have learned. I discontinued it because I joined an afterhours part of the academy, and I was not getting any feedback from any of the coaches for my progress. Nevertheless, I have more positive things to say about it than negative. IT'S THE BOMB! :)

IMHO it depends on where you are at.
If you are a beginner I would say do a program or bootcamp. Or if you are more advanced Ii would say a one on one with Mystery. I had the solo pleasure of his company for about 6 hours last Monday and learned so much that my game was pretty good but now a lot better;)

I don't live in NYC, but I can also tell you there are a few out there that claim to know stuff, but actually don't. I've met elsewhere with some that are from that area, and it wasn't pretty. I won't go into details about that on the open forum.
I do workshops myself as well. I just don't really advertise that on this forum. But since the original poster appears to be from UK, I don't know how the New York thing would help out.

I've met the coaches and attended an SLA conference. I have also done a bootcamp where I met Mystery, Kosmo, and Discovery.
SLA has a lot of in depth material, fashion tips, and the latest and greatest material. Style has teams out right now using the "old canned openers" to see how often they get called out. With 100's of guys across the globe .. the call out rate is 3.4%.
It's a great program, and the coaches are high caliber (They were picked by Style). However nothing breaks you out of your shell like a bootcamp. Personally, I think SLA is an awesome supplement once you have a solid foundation that's tested in field to work from that a bootcamp gives. You get a DvD each month along with a magazine full of articles (some of which are hilarious) from the coaches. I got a lot from SLA early on ... namely a great fashion critique from Bravo and Alpha Male traits. A bit spendy each month, so I am canceled for the time being. I plan on re-enrolling in the future. But I need A LOT more in field than study material. SLA really embraces a full person concept ... how to truly become a high value person in every aspect of your life.
Keep in mind ... every MPUA has their own "style" but the "Mystery Method" is the woman's process. There's no wrong way if it works. In the end, everyone uses the same fundamentals. Can't grow a tree without good roots. :)

How much does stylelife academy cost for the online coaching program?

Maverick, rather than turning this into a sales pitch for their offer, why not go check it out for yourself. Allow them to tell you all about it, rather than hearing only the parts we used.
It is a good program, though.

Before increasing your training, ask yourself this, "Do I apply everything I have learned so far?"
If you have already learned a lot, but don't sarge, do you really want to lay out money for something you will learn but not apply? If you need motivation to sarge, send me $20. I will send you a $5. When you return the $5 bill with a hot babe holding it, I will return the $20, signed by me, with the lipstick kiss of my hot babe, as well as a photo of her holding it, which I will post on here so you know it isn't the same HB each time.
How will that motivate you? First, you will have a cool DHV story that your $20 went to a friend in Washington, DC. I will have a cool DHV story as well. Plus, until you actually sarge, you will be out $15.
But, I think your motivation for learning is a good one...that you will be more equipped to handle issues int he field.

Sincerelee,
I was just asking the price of it because I couldn't find a price on their website. I plan on coming to DC in late november early december because I will be 21 then so we can meet up and sarge if you want.

Maverick, that'd be fun! I recommend you still contact Bravo. They run special offers all the time, so they might save you some cash plus get you some special cool stuff. If you do sign up, tell them Sensei recommended you so I can get the SLA dog tag. :)
