View Full Version : Wouldn't it be funny?

Wouldn't it be funny if this whole website was set up by some clueless KJ that needs some attention?

That being said...

There's a need for some way of verifying that the people on this forum are indeed who they say they are. Look at the thread entitled "Style here"--1,600 views and hordes of blind followers for nothing more than a username. It could be some zit-faced teen in his mom's basement with a porn site displayed on his second monitor while he writes posts with his free hand (I personally couldn't type left-handed).

I have no doubt that Matador and Lovedrop are who they say they are. Posts by users like Mehow can be verified within reasonable certainty by characteristics from his official forum (-m). What do we know about the rest?

Matador and Lovedrop, what's your take on this?

I bet this is spurred by Styles recent post in his "Style here" thread.

A lot of people called him out on his excessive typos and grammar mishaps.
Something a writer wouldnt do.

Then again...
We all been drunk before.
:D

But that doesnt matter for its human nature to undergo that famous intellectual disease known as conspiracy theory.
hahahaha

I wonder if the writing style is easily imitated... For top dogs like Mystery, Style and Co, I guess each of them has a unique writing style. And anyone who's been long enough to PU boards can sense whether, say, Style's writings on this forum are genuine. Spelling mistakes are not a reliable indicator though, anyone can make them when typing fast enough.

none of the less, The Material on the site is still quality. We got an amazing Gather up of people, Drama Free, It also feels more relaxed and homely hehe!

Hush, I am Mystery I Get You Laid!

Said, in a more enraged way.

....now, was that an indicator of an imposter or not?

I have not seen a lot of quality posts on the site so far. There is still some duplicate posts which I've also found on other forums. Just a few good posts by some veteran PUAs who did not post in the past. The forums are still virgins [Mystery himself has not posted AT ALL. How can nobody notice that? So much for the hype.]

screen the quality of the posts on how it makes sense to you personally.

violation theory was a top post and Sheriff had a good one. i'm sure there have been others besides these.

being able to assess quality for yourself will probably help you - game wise and otherwise. a common sight you'll see on forums is - one not very well known guy writes something with content 'X' and nobody replies, or if they do, they slam him.
another guy with a name and repuation writes something with the same content 'X' (somtimes later on in the same thread, no less) and there are stacks and stacks of replies, praise etc.

thats just human nature in action - being forced to move away from it where everyone is new isn't necessariliy an entirely bad thing.
the kinks in the way the forum is being run will, IMO, work out in the long run. The clowning around is a little on the high side right now...give it time, it'll go down.

I don't think the unmoderated thing will last. first off, i don't even know if it is unmoderated (there's a 'report" button at the end of post). theres a reason why forums are moderated... its to keep nonsense down.

but for now - Lets all try to assess merits on our own.

cheers,
Sting

Welcome to the internet. Every one of us everywhere could be or could not be who they say they are. Whether Lovedrop, Matador, Mystery, Mehow, Style, Tyler... etc etc... are real or not, it doesn't matter in the end. What does matter is most simply results. Even if there's frauds masquerading around (althought I agree they should all be banned) as the greats, as long as the advice is strong and free flowing. The positive energy rippling. And the field reports coming in strong. Then it does not matter. We will achieve results and we will have our victories, amongst frauds or not, the results will be there.
