Hey fellas,
I think I've hit a slump with the co-worker hb8 I was trying to pickup.
re-cap: worked with her for about 2 months now, got her attracted and invited her out a couple times. But now I'm not getting the same IOIs I was when I first started using cocky/funny and things like THE CUBE. I still bust on her and have joking conversations but it doesnt have that sexual tension when we talk anymore. Maybe I'm giving her too much attention?
Well like 4 or 5 days after our first outing together last monday, I called her up again because her parents were out of town and I was going to just say "Hey I'm coming over and I'm bringing a movie". Who knows if it would have worked because she never picked up and it went to voicemail. I left her a message saying I was trying to invite her to a party but since she didnt pickup she missed out. I didn't mean to lie but I thought it would sound pathetic to say anything else. At least that way she would think I was the one being fun and she was missing all the action.
It turned out she was at the lake with a few friends that night and the next day so maybe thats why she didnt pickup (it was like 10:30 at night too when I called.).
Okay so then 2 nights later I talked to her at work and mentioned a party that was going on that night and asked if she was down for it but left before I got any real answer. So later at like 11 she calls and is giving me some bullshit about her being tired from work and the lake. So I was a little drunk and got agitated but I didnt argue with her but I did kind of cut her off when she was talking and just said "I gotta go, bye". I don't think that was the right response, probably made me look "beta".
Then the next day at work when she first comes in its kind of awkward between us because she just goes walking around without saying hi to me or any of the other workers in our area. Finally I end up walking past her (ignoring her, not saying hey) and when I get a few steps past her shes like "Well Hey to you too". I don't say anything and just look back and give her a half smile. Later on we get actually talking and then it seems like everythings alright but I just don't feel like I'm getting any IOIs from her anymore? Does anyone know where I went wrong?
What should I do now if in fact she's not attracted anymore? Should I just ignore her all over again and try to backtrack to attraction phase? I thought I was in comfort but now I have no idea. We just got the new work schedule and I'm not working with her all this week through Saturday. Is this a good thing? And should I try to call her during the week and see if she wants to hang out or what? (The last time I called her was last thursday, and we hung out last monday).
Sorry if i gave a bunch of useless information or w/e but I just can't figure it out. I guess it shouldn't bother me this much but I think I just really need to get this girl as a confidence booster, but I'm trying not to catch the one-itis.
Maybe I already did.
