Okay, this may or may not get moved to the 'off topic' part of the forum. But I wanted to at least give this thread a chance.
In 3 1/2 months, I'm getting out of the military and I'm quite uncertain what I'm going to do. My first instinct is to move on with my life goals of getting closer to financial freedom. But going to school and working both full time, I can get my degree(Bus. Admin.) and get my debt paid off rather quickly. However, I'd have a 40 mile commute everyday to Des Moines Iowa, boo. But I'd get my debt taken care of in a year or so and I could start putting money towards investing.
Or, I could use that GI Bill and get a better education at a state university in Kansas City(a little better). I'd have to use a college loan to pay off my debt until I was done with school. Also going to a state school, like Seth from Superbad once said, would give me access to girls who are half as smart and therefore twice as likely to fellate me. My uncle lived in a dorm at age 24, sold weed, partied like no other and really recommends it to me for the experience. He also told me a story about pulling two strippers and partying with them for a weekend.
I'm also 24(soon anyway) and I really can't see living in a dorm. But then again, the first option I'd have to live with my grandma for at least a year and would have a lot less time to pursue the muff. The first choice would also put me closer to an ex that I'm almost certain I could get back and would be tempted to even though she's a liar and a venomous person.
I'm horribly conflicted and most of my family/friends could go either way on it with me. So I wanted to bring it up to like minded individuals.. do I go for the experience or the pursuit of financial freedom?
Thanks for your insights guys.
