How to deal with Club promoter interrupt during A2?

So I've opened this 3 set, I've done some A2, I'm now going into name-iVD.
And the club promoter comes into the set, to get a name for the guest list.
So everyone is interested in what she's saying and I'm kind of at a loose end.
I continue the iVD with the girl closest to me, but I know really she wants to know what the promoter girl is doing, so I've not got her full attention.

So.
I needed to handle this better.
When the club promoter enters the set, I think I should consider a new toy to play with.
How can I play with the club promoter and increase everyone's fun?

My wing, earlier had a nice line, 'what are you trying to sell me then?'.
But its also a touch cruel, and predictable. Although it is 'fun', to a greater degree than just being welcoming.

Anyway, the promoter fucked the set, because when she had finished, the whole set wanted to turn to the girl who signed up and get the low down on what had happened. And I'm just standing there like a tool, so I said goodbye and that I would speak to them later. When the promoter entered, by not responding correctly I lost control of the interaction (and attention of the hbs).

So how to respond to promoter interrupt?

There are a couple different methods. You can attempt to get control of the frame back from the promoter, i.e. get yourself signed up for stuff. Otherwise use the interupt for the ability go do something else real quick (the set is in good hands now), like take a leak, go find your friend, get another drink, whatever. Attempt to time this time constraint so you return as the promoter is finishing up.

The same problem can happen with the set wants to go to the bar and get drinks. They can get lost trying to get a bartenders attention. I do best ejecting from the set for a bit and then finding them later.

New toy to play with, how to play with her?
Ideally I want the Style / Mystery answer, since that will have more poise.
But anyway, here's some gamey ideas, others are welcome, as are improvements.

She lures people downstairs with promises of being a VIP at her nightclub.
And then she strips them naked and tortures them in her dungeon.

I dunno.
The weakness of these is I victimise a girl with no support network.
And really it would be better to be teasing the girls I want to get with.
So how to incorprate the set?

Ideally, the pinnacle of this, would be to cast her as something nefarious, then twist every statement she makes about her intent, as to validate my scenario.

I could cast her as Satan.
And I'm protecting the girls.
How to make that funny?

Another idea:

Instead of demonizing the promoter girl herself, you could tease her about what kind of "list" she's signing people up for. That could be just about anything that you could throw into the context, from jokes about penis enlargement spam to a sex toy party to being on someone's "shit list".
