Right when I first got a myspace I got some good replies and I did some crazy pimping.
I now been looking back on all that and it always went dead.
Either something I didnt do or something she didnt.

Now it seems that I'm not getting any attention.

Not that I'm the big myspace guy...but here's my two cents

Too many pics on your pic page of you---doing nearly the same thing. Wearing the same shirt even. Vary it up.

Think of the the three attraction spikes---and use photos that highlight that. I don't see cool photos of you with chicks, your boys. They should be on the front page---especially the ones with hot chicks.

Secondly, the front is kind of....confusing? I didn't pick up a clear sense of who you are. Lots of clutter.

Now, I have NOTHING on my myspace page. But if you check my friends (I only have 33--told you I don't use it much!), there are a bunch of hot chicks with hot friends. Girls will check it--check the preselection---and get it.

My personal opinion is that you should cut down on the funny/entertaining pictures and personalize your "myspace" a bit more.

The funny pictures are amusing the first time, but if someone is revisiting your page, then it gets tiresome having to scroll past them to comment.

More picks with you+ ladies could help you out with additional social proof.

Gives me one of those pornsite type headaches. You know what I mean like they tried to shove as much sh*t into one webpage as humanly possible. You can use a template to make it look pretty sweet but without adding a million and one HTML snippets. It needs to be interesting yet fun. Some cool music. Your about me and people I want to meet are the biggest part. Add a couple of pics. (Admittedly I do need some better ones) As far as friends popularity rules on myspace I except adds why not. As far as hooking up, I do not push the issue online I lightly hint to it so the girls suggest it or I tell them its too bad we will never get to talk on the phone since they probly have a man voice. Or that we will never meet due to them probly having man hands or something or the fact there probly some gay 40 year old man trying to molest me, Etc....

Anyways online works a little different but its still the same game, Open then qualify, tease (OMG your such a dork, etc...) then build comfort. (Online try and mix the comfort and attraction) then get them off of Myspace and onto the phone or get them to meet you some where public and then its game on. If there pic is questionable, call them on it. One cool thing is you can string them along a bit online then use them to fill in your callendar.



I never meet an online girl on a thurs, friday, or sat night. I have even told them that rule. I say Look I have not met you yet so not sure if your worth wasting a weekend night on. Her: Blah blah blah, You: Look, lets meet on on Tuesday for a cup of coffee and if your cool and you behave I might take you to a really cool place where my friends (hang out or band plays) on Friday.

Or I tell them I am going to the mall shopping, so if you want to meet up and tag a long thats cool.

Try to cut down on the amount of funny pictures and video feeds. Put the video feeds on your video page. Some of the images on your front page clutter the page and make it hard to find real content about yourself. A few more pre-selection pics on your pics page would be nice.

I know you wrote this for someone else to answer but allow me my 2 cents.
I have been mackin myspace for a while now with some really good results.
I will chat up a 8-10 quality girl for mabye 1/2 hour before using something like "this typing back and forth is so slow, call me." wich is usually followed by a "ok, whats your number?" and then its on their dime and I can usualy set a appointment (16 out of 19 so far) from there to meet for coffee using the "that way if your a wacko then I can use a excuse like I have to go floss my cat or something and leave".
It's funny though because after a half a hour or so they usualy ask me for my number or want me to call them anyway. (12 out of 19 times so far)
When I am chatting to them I try to only drop hints about myself but I make them give me the whole story about themselves and then neg them on it. True example
Me "What do you do for work? are you a stripper or hooker or something"
them"LOL, your so funny! no, I work for blah blah hospital, I'm a RN. I have been here for 3 years now and before that I worked as a medical assistant "
Me "oh, a RN, thats a different job..... do you strip at night then?"
them "ROFL!!! I am a nurse not a stripper ha ha ha"
Me"Well, if the nursing thing dosen't work out at least you have a costume for stripping"

so you can see how I work it. I always always always ask them if they are a stripper or hooker or cam girl or some kind of degrading job like that, then they "lol" me and tell me their job trying to qualify themselves to me and I knock them for it.
On the approach: Most of these girls are used to getting messages like "your so friggin hot" ect... so I start the message based off something other that what they look like. Usually off their movie choices with a "I can't believe you liked ____ movie, I thought it sucked horse nuts, what made you like it? was it just because ____ was in it?
Almost always gets a response the nice thing is that you dont even need to know anything about the movie thanks to the IMDB.

I know you wrote this for someone else to answer but allow me my 2 cents.
I have been mackin myspace for a while now with some really good results.
I will chat up a 8-10 quality girl for mabye 1/2 hour before using something like "this typing back and forth is so slow, call me." wich is usually followed by a "ok, whats your number?" and then its on their dime and I can usualy set a appointment (16 out of 19 so far) from there to meet for coffee using the "that way if your a wacko then I can use a excuse like I have to go floss my cat or something and leave".
It's funny though because after a half a hour or so they usualy ask me for my number or want me to call them anyway. (12 out of 19 times so far)
When I am chatting to them I try to only drop hints about myself but I make them give me the whole story about themselves and then neg them on it. True example

them"LOL, your so funny! no, I work for blah blah hospital, I'm a RN. I have been here for 3 years now and before that I worked as a medical assistant "
Me "oh, a RN, thats a different job..... do you strip at night then?"
them "ROFL!!! I am a nurse not a stripper ha ha ha"
Me"Well, if the nursing thing dosen't work out at least you have a costume for stripping"
them "Oh GAWD LOL, .....would you like it if I did that for you? I have a cam"
Me "*sigh* your a cam girl, I should have guessed what do you charge $5-$10 a hour?"

so you can see how I work it. I always always always ask them if they are a stripper or hooker or cam girl or some kind of degrading job like that, then they "lol" me and tell me their job trying to qualify themselves to me and I knock them for it.
On the approach: Most of these girls are used to getting messages like "your so friggin hot" ect... so I start the message based off something other that what they look like. Usually off their movie choices with a "I can't believe you liked ____ movie, I thought it sucked horse nuts, what made you like it? was it just because ____ was in it?
Almost always gets a response the nice thing is that you dont even need to know anything about the movie thanks to the IMDB.

Anyway, my 2 cents.

Exactly I agree with him this is the best way to go really. As I said my online game is mainly to test lines and to test different styles and methods. So they tend to go longer than they need to.

I've had dozens of completely different about me sections, designs, pictures, graphics and glittery attention getting things. This is the combined effect of them all, and it works perfect for me.

I think some of the most crucial parts of writing and designing your site is to never limit your options. What I mean is that by writing what you love and what you hate, it sounds too absolute. The lists of those things limit what a person might think of you. It took me awhile to figure this out, and I asked for feedback from woman who I met.

I made this myspace below as one that I tested my new designs on (I never put them up until they are perfect.), so thats why there are no pictures on it. However, on my real myspace the pictures are those from when I went to Japan, my blackbelt pictures, and a few just really cool ones doing creative things like rock climbing etc. Pictures that demonstrate higher value are the best, in my experience.

p.s.

I put mystery up there just for you guys. Usually its just a cool picture of a kid with paint on his hands and him looking you straight in the eyes (to show that I like kids). The squares or symbols you see about him are Japanese characters. I have lots of girls add me from Japan so I wrote it just for them. It says the exact same thing as my english about me though.
