Hey Gang,
Just found this site through the mehow.tv forums. I see there's some great information here, as expected. Figured I'd introduce myself.
I'm 27 and working as a web developer intern by day at a very large research company. I am a drum and bass DJ/Producer by night, having performed in many major cities across the US and recently in Tokyo... which was off the hook, by the way. :p
I discovered the community in May of 2006 by typing something like "For god sakes how do I meet women" into google in a fit of AFC frustration. If I remember correctly, fastseduction.com was in the first page of results and the rest is history.
I purchased the VAH, and later the DVD series and interview series from MM. I have also read Swingcat's book, Juggler's book and anything I can get my hands on from the web.
After 8 months in the game, I have only had mediocre success at best, but I'm having the time of my life playing. The theory is there, but the application is lacking. I have recently decided that I need a bootcamp.
The major problem is that working where I do as an intern, while an outstanding career opportunity, provides just enough income for me to eek by. Comming up with $2500 for a bootcamp is something that's not going to happen... therefore, being the resourceful person I am, I have worked out a deal with a very skilled person to exchange some services for a 3-day one-on-one.
