As y'all may know, The Mystery Method hardcover version of VAH comes out early next month (I've got my copy pre-ordered, just for intriguing bookshelf material).

Now I'm not one of those "this book is going to expose us all  " raging lunatics--in fact, I've been shooting down those claims from clueless newbies since The Game hit the shelves. However, this book is indeed different. While The Game was a cleverly-written story, if my understanding is correct, the new book coming out is a seduction manual.

As a result, if the book becomes insanely popular, the "game" as we know it will have to evolve once again. Granted, it's been happening for years with every new "exposure," but what's next? Will there just be a new set of routines for the new guys to pick up? Will there be a shift toward more direct methods?

Who has a take on this?

I've never gotten "Is that a pick-up line" or "Did you read that in that book" when using direct. They know my intension. Then I go right into qualifying and building comfort & connection.

Just something to think about.

I think we donīt have to worry.
Just donīt use the well known opinion openers everything else they will not recognize.....

by the way: Is this upcoming release exactly the same as the current VAH or is it diffrent in some ways?

Geez. You managed to contradict yourself in the same post. LOL You are as clueless as the newbies you look down upon. If you have been in the agme and you are still using the same old routines, you are not a PUA, just a JAW. Sorry if you take it badly.

Indirect works. And indirect does not depends on the routine. damn it!! when will you guys learn?

Lots of BS. If you want to know about the hardcover VAH, go the Savoy's forums. Seriously. it's been discussed there in sufficient details.

Why the negativity?

All he said was that for "new people" the game goes through a series of changes whenever routine material is exposed.

He never said it would affect his game. He never said that he relied on his memorized openers.

Greystoke, your trying too hard man.

Brilliant response, Greystroke. I thought flaming was reserved for 12-year-olds on online gaming forums.

If you could, point out for me where I said "I use the same old routines" and that indirect game doesn't work. Also explain to me if you don't mind, sir, where I contradict myself. Did I mention that I was worried about this? I'm just interested in exploring where this latest release is going to take the community, and how more well-known forums such as mASF will be affected by it.

A quick search on your posts on this forum thus far yields little more than negative responses to people trying to have discussion on issues they are legitimitely interested in. God damn, when will you learn?!

Enjoy your trolling, Greystroke.

I've had girls call me out on gaming them twice ever, out of what must be somewhere around 2,000 approaches over the last almost 2 years. Out of those 2 times, one of them I got laid.

I'm not too worried about it. ;)

i'm interested in how much will be changed in the hardcover version of the vah, but even more about the "new model" ebook mystery is about to release.
i wonder if he's changed his view on the game like tyler did.
my prediction is that his new book and the blueprint are going to be competing for the title of the "pickup bible".

The hardcover will probably use less pua terminology and be marketed towards a more general audience.

I know a guy that did about one thousand cold approaches using only "Who Lies More" or Jealous Girlfriend" and he got "caught out" only once.

Seriously, its only KJs that worry about this kind of shit.

Women will always want to sleep with confident, alpha, witty, attractive men with interesting personalities.

On top of that, if you've got these qualities down, girls will likely not have a bad response to a routine even if they've heard it before. at worst, a smile, "i've heard that before" - and onwards.
