Dear Mystery,
I have no respect for you. I’m not hating I have valid reasons. First of all, you lied to all of us. You told us two summers ago you were going to give us over an hour of in field material for FREE because of your VH1 show as a thank you.. It never happened. Instead you made a shitty product and made people pay 2500 for footage of you approaching ugly middle aged women. You’re a phony and have no integrity. I used to view you as a hero but you backed out on your word and I have absolutely no respect for you. Your show is fake, everyone on it is an amateur actor, and to top it off the best looking guy always wins. You’re a disgrace to this community you helped build. You told all of us in the beginning that if you ever wrote an ebook you would give it away for free. And now you’re just like the rest of them; a complete sell out. You prolly won’t even read this cus I doubt you even read these forums; you’re probably too busy blowing coke and banging your perfect tens. Well, you can have your pure cocaine and tens, but it doesn’t make up for you loss of integrity, You’re a phony. You have a beautiful daughter in England, and your over probably somewhere in Hollywood trying to live like a “rockstar”. Fuck you. VH1 is making a fool out of you and this entire community. I guarantee you will be on “celebrity rehab” in about a year or two.. How do I know?.. Cus I know your kind. Your self destructive and have no integrity.
I used to admire you man, but now not so much. You and your boy Neil sold us all out. All your loyal students, we always had your back and you sold us all out for money. Fuck leading a “cultural phenomenon”, you probably won’t make it till 60 because of all the coke your blowing. Your ganna end up just like your daddy.. Ironic isn’t it? Hopefully you change your ways before it’s too late.
Peace.

Hey, exactly what have you done to give back to Mystery, say in the past 6 years? Nothing. Okay, thought so.
You don't know him, don't act like you do. That's all.

Did you find no value in his book? I haven't met Mystery in person ever. I never read his book or used his method. So I'm not getting laid by his method.

idk what to respond to this because I think you made some valid points.
I disagree with some.
Because of neil hadn't blown your whole cover.
I would never have found you I think
And I would never be in the right direction
To improving socially.
I don't know .
I just don't

If the "why" is important enough to you, the "how" will manifest in some form or another.
In other words, even if you didn't read Neil's book, you already realized that you wanted to improve. Because of that, you would have found out about this community or have become a part of it in some way, whether it was Neil's book, another book, a random click on the internet, or writing your own book. You would have found it.

It's a maybe.

I'm not sure.
It's a maybe.
For me it was kind of a progressive thing. I knew in Grade 8, things needed to change. I spent up until Grade 12 trying to find meaning in life. I came back a year to Grade 12 and read books on Spirituality and The Art of War.
I then became very lustful for a girl, but only after I thought I was going to die. I quit my job, due to "medical reasons." I didn't want to die a virgin, so I convinced myself I loved her, and wanted her, and if I were to live, then the first thing I'd do is confess my love to her.
I saw Neil Strauss on Last Call With Carson Daly during this "episode," but didn't think much of it at the time. I was then told by two doctors, because I didn't believe the first one, that nothing was wrong with me, it was all in my head. I had a feeling of "I am fukin alive!" moment right after that.
I then thought about the girl, but decided I didn't want to go back to her. I thought I should improve myself from what she saw last time. Then I remembered Neil's book, Rules of the Game and looked it up on the internet. The rest worked itself out.
If you want it bad enough, the opportunity will prevent itself, if not now, then a few years down the line. That's what I think. So Neil's book and Mystery's show didn't ruin or expose anyone. Pick Up has always existed, far before Mystery. And you shouldn't be using their canned material anyways. You're supposed to make up your own.

I wouldn't have found this community either were it not for Neil's book, but I do agree that this community is filled with sleazy tactics to separate fools from their money, and Mystery is no exception. The question is, would you not do the same in his position? I know I would.
I bought his book The Mystery Method and it was well worth the money.
But you can see the tactics seduction gurus are running as you read their websites and newsletters, they seduce men into buying their product. There's a sucker born every minute.

I think you would have found a way. A lot of us found the community long before The Game came out. The community was one of those places that just couldn't stay secret for long. After all, it was well known enough that Rolling Stone magazine wanted to do an article on it. That's how Neil ended up joining.
Smart people usually find a solution to their problems eventually.
I agree with the original poster, but I don't see any value in continuing to bitch about the guy. Smart people already figured that out years ago. The rest won't be convinced no matter how hard you try to tell them.

I wouldn't, no, because its not ethical and its not smart business. Not all the seduction gurus have done what he's done. I've never seen that kind of marketing from Juggler.

Mystery does have a lot of marketing tactics that I wouldn't use myself. I wouldn't really use any of those. I'm not a salesman. At the same time, one probably wouldn't make as much money as Mystery does now if he didn't use these marketing tactics, but the show and The Game helped him get all the publicity he needs.
I don't like how he is charging $5000 for a one-on-one with him. I don't buy any of his stuff, and I don't plan too, but charging $5000 for a guy to talk to you for few hours on a weekend, does seem a little sleazy. I'll give you that much. I mean, some people only make $5000 or so after 3-4 months of work.
I could probably learn this from someone for a smaller fee, if not free. And the quality would be just as good. But Mystery hasn't done anything wrong to me, and I can say that cause I haven't bought anything from him. I always thought most people were happy with what they got from him.

Guys
Remeber this community is bigger that one or two people. There is a lot of talent here. Granted, Mystery is not around here anymore but credit must be given where credit is due. I was very vocal when the VH-1 Series came out. I personally thought it would destroy the community. But it hasnt. It has made the guys that are serious about changing their lives better at what they do. Mystery and Strauss deserve credit for thier work contributing the founding principals that have become a mainstay in this community. Every body uses them. They want to get rich off of them fine. You cant punish someone for sucess.
As for the material or sale. A lot of it is crap. It is based on poor management and marketing. Do your homework. I believe before you purchased it, you should always check with the community for reviews befor purchasing it. Ther are alot of free periodicals out there and a ton of information by guys on this site that is far better than that presented for a ton of money.

It sure sounds like you would like to convince 90% of our forum population that they are stupid or not smart because they didn't find other ways to improve socially. Why would you like to convince them of that?
Don't you think that's more than a little insulting for those who appreciate this community and its teachings, or find it to be a solution to their problems?

Hello AW again....
It seems you've interpreted my post in the opposite way that i had intended it. Let me clear some things up.
My comment was a compliment towards Peach. She thinks she wouldn't have found this community without Neil. I think she would have found it anyway, because this community attracts the kind of smart people who actively seek solutions to their problems. Most people I've seen in this community have above average intelligence. So I believe the opposite to how it was interpreted.
I agree with the original poster, but I don't see any value in continuing to bitch about the guy. Smart people already figured that out years ago. The rest won't be convinced no matter how hard you try to tell them.
I was referring to the fact that there was no value in continuing to bitch about Mystery, that smart people figure out that there's no value to bitching about him. Smart people figure out that constant bitching, particularly about Mystery doesn't achieve much.
Does that clear up the matter? Any further issues I will happily answer in PM.

Thank you for your explanation.

I was wondering because you seemed to leave your statements open to misinterpretation.
"Figured what out? Convinced of what?"
When making unclear statements, as you well know, they can come across as unnecessarily ambiguous, with an apparent intent to cause confusion and argument. If you wouldn't like to be misinterpreted, then your posts should be more clear.

LOL . . . quite contradictory. Either that or you're calling yourself a sucker . . . for something that was "well worth the money".
theroyalflush . . . as a direct answer to your question, yes I have been laid using Mystery's material and I've taught other students how to get laid using his material. Any more questions?

Nah I think that the book was a fair price and full of good info, but there's alot of bullshit out there.
