My friend used the first joke on me and I saw the second in the movie "the pursuit of happyness" It is playful and banter-y and most of all funny. plus people that hear it usually use it on someone else.
Me: I heard the best joke today, wanna hear it?
Hb: Sure.
Me: It's a knock knock joke, you ready?
Hb: yeah
Me: Ok you start.
Hb: knock knock...
Me: who's there?
here you wait and look at her like she is telling the joke and you are waiting for the punch line. Let it draw out for a bit until she knows that you are messing with her and she gets the joke.
Hb: Uhhhh......
Me: Ha! gotcha. Ok here is the real joke. I'll start this time, knock knock...
Hb: who's there?
Me: nobody.
Hb: nobody who?
now you just stare at her and let the silence draw out, because there is nobody at the door. after a little bit she will get it and laugh.
MAKE SURE to keep quiet and look her in the eyes until she gets the joke
stack forward or tell her to remember it so she can use it on her friends.
