Why do we go up to strangers and ask for their opinions? Why should you even talk to strangers? To get laid? That's not enough! Enough with approaching strangers JUST SO you can move on to the next phase.
What's in it for YOU?! If you were really interested in people's opinoins and what they have to say, why would there be approach anxiety? Enjoy the social exchange in THIS MOMENT! Have motivation to approach just for the sake of the approach! It will be much, much, much easier to be congruent and practice body languge and delivery, cuz you're being REAL. THUS, you're also giving value to the people you approach because of your OWN positive energy and your GENUINE interest in what they have to say. That is the appeal of asking opinions after all.
Ask opinions that you're actually interested in. And make it something people in general are interested in as well. Something fun and light. Something approporiate for the MOMENT of the approach. Make it fun for them AND fun for you at the same time! I'm pretty sure very few guys here give a shit about David Bowie or Who Put Baby in the Corner Bullshit! It might be fun for some girls, but you don't give a shit. So don't be fake just to get something else. Of course you'll feel anxiety if you're doing this. One really old opener I really liked is, "Who Lies more, women or men?" Shit was a fun thing to ask and I liked people's responses to it. Chris Rock asked the same thing in "Bigger and Blacker" btw. (Thanks, Sean)
Move on to qualifying for more intimate encounters, AFTER you have enjoyed the approach for it's own sake. And I'm not advocating that you stay with an opener and keep talking about it cuz it's so fun. More fun awaits!
