i wouldnt say your have to read them to be a sucess

but probably mysterys book

http://www.amazon.com/Mystery-Method-Beautiful-Women-Into/dp/0312360118/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/104-9051487-7177536?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1181080138&sr=8-1

i found this one the most helpful...... but if want to get into psychology.... there is "the selfish gene" from Richard Dawkins.... "the red queen" by Matt Ridley....... "the game" by Style is a great read (although i didnt learn much from it because i read TMM first).....its still a great read:D

I'm reading some of Juggler's stuff at the moment and enjoying it. It's a totally different approach to the VA though but it's obviously worked for Wayne. It might be something you'd be interested in, the book I read was something like 'Converesational Ju-Jitsu'

here are the three books i got in the order i got them and read them.

The Game - Neil strauss. This is a fun book that slowly introduces you to the ideas and concepts in the Mystery Method, along with Field Reports and stories. It basically gets you introduced to everything

The Mystery Method - Mystery. His hard back book. A great book that goes from A-Z. Very well written, and I think in hind sight easier to understand once you have read The Game, otherwise you may be a little bit confused.

Introducing NLP - Joseph O'Conner. I actually have the workbook edition so I can apply it to my life but again great things to change the bigger things in life, a great one (and quoted by Style) - "There are no failures, just learning lessons"

I hope you enjoy what ever you read, just take your time, and look on websites such as bristollair and venusianarts. Be careful what you take from some peoples posts, I have found that some are completely pointless and it isnt the first from certain people, as they almost use forums to brag and give their own website/companies exposure. You will see who makes good posts and bad ones.

Enjoy the journey, its this not the destination. You only live once, make the most of it. No regrets.

This will sound weird but I've always been very talkative and outgoing. What was holding me back was that I just didn't come across too "cool"

A big part of that was how I dressed and I thank an old female friend for raising that issue with me.

As well as reading forums, going out with other guys and obviously the great advice of mystery I think the single BEST investment I made was actually for a little known book I haven't heard many people talk about

The Art of Peacocking (http://www.theartofpeacocking.com)

This book really explained to me how important the little details were and gave me VISUAL EXAMPLES of effective and ineffective peacocking and dress which I find helps me learn much faster.

For general Pickup and seduction etc. I have learnt the most from Mystery but I recommend www.theartofpeacocking.com as the single most important BOOK I have read in terms of the most change it has inspired!

some other books that offer an interesting perspective or can be applied to the game and life betterment in general:

Anything by Robert Greene:
The art of seduction
The 48 Laws of Power
The 33 strategies of war

Unlimited Power by Anthony Robbins

Not in the same category but Fear and loathing in Las Vegas or other works by Hunter S. Thompson can teach A TON about frame. His frame is so strong its insane.

I think the best read out there right now is Tyler Durden's blog. And if you want to understand what Tyler is talking about it helps to have read:

The Power Of Now, by Eckhart Tolle
Zen and the Art Of Motorcycle Maintenance, by Robert Pirsig
and lots of others but those are the best IMO.

My favourite "game" books:

Venusian Arts Handbook- classic
Way of The Superior Man, by David Deida- real inner game

Dont bother buying Casanova's memoirs - they are out of copyright so you can get them for free at http://www.gutenberg.org/etext/2981

My favourites are "The Game" and all of Mystery's stuff. I recommend "Double Your Dating" for learning the princples of cocky & funny and also a book "Pickupin3days" which has loads of cocky & funny lines to learn and use.

The Game
The Definitive Book of Body Language - Allan & Barbara Pease

Another good book that I haven't heard mentioned in any PUA forum is Moneyball by Michael Lewis. If you're not a sports fan, you probably shouldn't bother, but if your a big baseball fan like me, you'll love it. It talks about how Oakland A's GM Billy Beane took the norms and traditions of being a GM and threw them out the window. He had his own vision and critera for building a successful baseball team and didn't give a fuck what anyone who disagreed had to say. Total AMOG.
