2 set question

I know a 2 set is probably the hardest to open. I understand that when opening you should have a time constraint and neg the target but what should I do to stop the obstacle from thinking see is the target? Is the time constraint and open ended question enough?

2 sets are paticulary easy to open, it's the post open logistics is what makes them a little more difficult. Usually it's good to have a wing, so you can split the set up easier, but let's get the set open first.

Firstly, you don't open just the target or the obsticle, you open the entire set, speak to both of them.

You want to give them your opener, along with a false time constraint and then you want to NEG your target.

In the articles section of this forum there is a post by Mystery on negs, read it and you'll understand better what I'm discussing.

I will say this though, to give you some more advanced advice... your neg is not something you pause after, it's something you mention but continue on with your story without waiting for a reaction from the girl you negged or the obstacle. If you do wait, it comes off as reaction seeking, which is a low value thing to do.

So here is what you need to do

Open
False time constraint
Neg
Stack into routne.

Here's an example

PUA: (To group) "Hey guys, would you date a guy who was still friends with their ex?

Group: What?

PUA: Okay, I can only stay a second, but check this out, my best friend is dating this girl right (To target), you blink alot, (Back to group) and she found some old pictures of his ex-girlfriend from college under..."

NEG
Stack

Now you're having an issue of the obstacle being interested in you as well... this tells me that you're building attraciton to a good degree, kudos. For you I would recommend having a wing come in and distracting the obstacle so you can game your target uninterrupted.

Is there a way without a wing? My friends are not aware of the game and are probably going to lower my value? Also if both girls show interest how do you make sure not to upset the one you don't want and cause her to cockblock?

I feel Lyle Stone's post missed the mark just a bit. The question was how to keep the obstacle distracted while you pick up her hot friend so the obstacle doesn't think she's the one being gamed.

One thing Lyle Stone didn't mention in his post is kino. You should have some physical contact with your target within the first few seconds of opening the set.

Some more advanced tactics that Lyle didn't mention include pawns, pivots, and merging sets. The best way to game a two-set is to turn it into a larger set. You can do this either by bringing a wing into the equation (a resource you don't seem to have), pawning off another girl into the set ("have y'all met my friend, Judy?) or by dragging the two-set into a set you're already gaming. So you don't have a wing eh? No sweat man, I got you covered.

First, someone mentioned kino, which is a valid point, but be careful. If you only kino your target, the obstacle might choose to blow you out, as you may not have built enough value in her eyes, or jealousy might kick in.

A good way to view kino is "Do it early, do it to everyone, and do it often"

I usually kino on the open, back of the hand to the shoulder of the obstacle, while my open palm of my other hand is touching my targets shoulder. I don't keep them there mind you, it's quick, and subcoms that I'm just one of those guys who simply touches when they communicate.

Also, if a guy is in the set, touch the guy before you touch any of the girls.

From the way you wrote your post, it seems that you're a little newer to the game, which is fine, so I won't go into set merging forward/backward, but they are a great tool, so don't ignore them completely. What I would recommend you do is to continue on with your routines, but while your working the set, keep throwing disqualifiers to your target while being kind to your obstacle.

A disqualifier being

"You know why we would never get along..."
"I can tell right now you're trouble for me"
"Don't make me come down there"
etc.

Continue with the material that you choose to attract the girl (Still talking to the group, so you should be getting IOI's from both the girl and the target), be it cocky funny, specific routines, or just an unreactive social vibing frame..."

Where you really choose your target (Or basically let the group know who your target now is) is during the qualification phase. When you start throwing out qualifiers to your target, she jumps through the hoops and then you IOII her for them, that's when you let the group know you're interested in a specific girl.

This is the beauty of indirect game.... you don't give any IOI's before the girl DHV's herself... it's perfect social chess.

That being said, you still might run in to the obstacle liking you, which is fine. This just means your attract game is working and the girls are going to have the following convo inn the car on the way home.

"Oh my god, are you going after him, Because if you don't want him, I'll totally take him"

You ever had hone of your guy friends say this to you? If you had, you know the power of it, as you yourself want to be with that girl more, just because if you don't want her, you know your friend would have her.

It's effective.

Also, there is a specific routine that is used in the cases where it's a two set and both the target and obstacle like you, it's called the "Choose Gino" routine, and is not mine to teach you.

Mystery teaches it, so ask one of the VA guys to help you out with that, but it's a very cool routine.

I know how that Feel, I'm in the same shoe, but they do it anyways, Its a good Practice of AMOG techniques =P.

Venue change with the 2 set, parading 2 girls around on your Arm is much better than 1. It's much better Social proof anyways right? you can use them as a pivot

The thing about the "you blink alot" neg, is that effective? Does she even have to be blinking if u say that? I never understood that one. I used to say "I just saw a girl with teh same shirt over there, everyone must have it!" in place of that neg. It worked okay, didnt seem too effective and they sometimes replied saying "thanks!"

Also the beauty of geting the entire group attracted is you can qualify the both of them and pick the one you genuinely like more.

I spent about an hour with a set last night where when I opened the one that turned out to be super fun wasnt the hottest. I wouldnt have known if I had gone straight for the kill based on looks.
