Hey all!

Had a quick question for the stylist department here. Does anyone know of a good brand of shoes. My last pair of Dr martins just wore out wanted to see what is the current style is. I'm not really loooking for anything peacocking or pimp style but a brand or style that goes good with Jeans. I wore timberland shoes for a long time but it looks like there foucas has move mre towards the hip hop crowd. Thats cool in all if it fits your frame but i just dont think the brand fits me anymore. Any suggestions. My frame is more cowboyish/biker so its tough. I also wore harley boots for a while but there mad like shit and fall apart easy and there kind of pricy. They wored good for clubbing but didnt last.

If you’re willing to spend a little bit of money I have a suggestion you might be interested in.

Here me out because they might come across a little different from what your use to but they are cool. Check or MarkNason.com. He makes boots that are funky, and peacocky, but might totally fit your frame, because they are total rock star boots. Kinda cowboy boot style, but with a hard rock & roll edge.

They range from the extreme (snake skin and studs) to a little tamer. But they are not cheap, think $300 a pair.

And for anyone else, check them out, because they make not only awesome boots, but really cool shoes, and belts. Very good addition to most styles and frames. If I could afford it I’d have a closet full of his stuff.

Take a look and let me know what you think. If they don’t work for you tell me what you like and don’t like so I can steer you more in the right direction.

I have the Doc's and the Harley's (for my low-rider). But I typically wear DC - you might try a pair of oldschool Chuck Taylor converse allstars for that subtle rockstar look.
