Cocoa Beach Florida?

I currently live in between Orlando and Tampa, but my roommate we've been trusting to pay rent has been ripping us off and using the money on himself, so we're all getting evicted from our house on November 8th. So now we have to find a new place to live.

My cousin's girlfriend works in Cocoa Beach, which is to the east of Orlando. We might be moving here, so I was wondering if anybody here has been there and if you have any opinions on it, such as if it's a nice place to live, or what the night life is like? Are there any good clubs or things to do?

The one thing I can tell you about Cocoa is that my friends don't say "Lets go to Cocoa to go clubbing!" I've never been there and I live just north in Daytona. Most people in my area go to Orlando to go clubbing, the night life here is decent (save for Spring Break). Daytona has a few clubs that are 18+, loud noisy dance clubs, and one that is 21+ which is a lounge. A few different strip clubs as well. Orlando is your best bet for a good night life.
