Ok, so I left this Croatian chick in a cafe across from Russell Square tube station, and made my way down to the hotel.
The seminar hadn't yet started, as Tenmagnet was chatting informally to some of the guys.
Tenmagnet went over a lot of theory, we had a break, when a student, Cajun, Deepvertigo and I went to Sainsbury's to get some food, and I tried an ultra-direct opener on this mother and daughter in the street, with a neardisastrous result!! Deepvertigo was in stitches and Cajun was mad at with me for doing that in front of a student!
Deepvertigo and I had some fun gaming this girl in Sainsbury's, and we went back to the hotel.
The seminar ended around 7pm, the students went back to their hotels. Tenmagnet, Cajun and I went to this pub called 'Shakespeare's Head' for some dinner. We had a chat, and enjoyed a relaxing pub meal, and the guys tried some warm English beer.
I went back to Magnus's flat, where he was entertaining a girl. We chatted for a while, and I met Tenmagnet, Cajun and Master at their hotel.
We went straight to On Anon, and met the students there. Tonight was about pushing students into set, winging them, giving infield advice, and providing post-sarge feedback.
Tenmagnet told me to work with as many students as I could, so that they would be able to effectively give feedback on my instruction at the end of the bootcamp.
I had already worked with this student, who I shall call 'student A' on Friday night. I can't remember if I already mentioned in my previous report that we did this Brazilian two set, from which he got blown out, I re-opened it, and demonstrated kino escalation, and resulted in a number-close. Actually, I realised he wasn't technically blown out. He 'prematurely ejectulated', which means he left the set too soon, rather than leading it. I explained this to him, later.
I had also worked with 'student B' on Friday, and we did the Asian set in which we stayed for a while.
I had also demonstrated to 'student C', on how to isolate a girl, when I opened this three set, and isolated a blonde lawyer, and explained the importance of addressing the whole group, and negging the target. 'Oh My God, you're telling me you're a lawyer? And you're blonde! Just like the movie, Legally Blonde'. haha!
So, today, I was assigned to 'student D', a really good-looking guy from Chicago, who was naturally alpha. I had to do something special with this one.
I wanted to teach him spontaneous opening, so that sets would hook better for him.
I said to him 'we are going to try this approach, rather than standing around looking for sets to send you into, we are going to open up this entire bar by saying hi, and asking them if they're having a good night, and in between talking to other people, we are going to have fun talking to each other, just like we are good friends.'
He said 'I don't know if I want to walk about and say hi to everyone'. I said 'just try it'. So, we did that, and we were chatting to each other, and high-fiving each other. From the corner of my eye, I spotted a seated 4 set on a high table. Whilst talking to the student, and getting him excited about the 'fight outside', I slowly edged him towards that set, without warning him of what I was planning.
I suddenly said 'man, why don't you ask these girls what we saw outside?'.
Bam, he didn't have a second to think about it, and he opened. The result was a natural, genuine, spontaneous smooth approach.
A few minutes later, he was still 'hovering' over their table, so I took a stool from the other end of the bar, and brought it over for him to sit down, so that he would be locked in!
I stood chatting to some other people, close enough so that I could listen to what he was talking to the girl about.
I noticed the guy in the group was looking at my student, in a way I did not like, so I went over and said hi to him. This got him distracted for a while.
I sat on a table next to him, and a few minutes later, Masters decided to come over and join me. Let me just say that the table was not built for two people!!!
CRASH!!! The table collapsed, four bottles of wine smashed, and Masters and I were on the floor!! It was hilarious, as we were both just laughing our heads off!
Anyway, the student was doing brilliantly, so then Deepvertigo came up to me and said 'I think your student should isolate the girl to the bar just now'. At this point, I thought that they already were isolated, but Deepvertigo was right, it would be a 'bounce', and it would be easier to kiss-close away from her friends. So, I went up to the student, whispered in his ear 'isolate to the bar'.
He did this. Later I whispered 'kiss-close'. He got his kiss-close. The student not only got a number-close, but also set up a day-2 for the following day!
Result!
Tenmagnet met me and said to get Cajun or Masters to observe me giving feedback to students.
I met student E, and we did the same thing, opening everyone, and being friendly, social guys. I saw this little Thai girl standing next to a staircase. I asked her 'what's up?'. She replied 'this black man was rude to me'. I said 'oh, don't worry about that, who are your friends?'. She introduced me to her two sisters. I liked the look of one of her sisters, a typical Thai cutie, and asked her 'so, why are you here tonight?'. She said 'to meet you', and started dancing up against me!! I had work to do tonight, so I left them, intending to come back later on . . .
I bumped into Cajun, and he said 'I want to see you open that 2 set'. There were these two girls sitting on at a table, one was caucasian and the other was a mixed race girl. I did the 'did you see the fight outside' opener.
The mixed race girl said 'Oh My God honey, are you ok? Are you in shock?' I said 'yeah, feel my heart beating'. Then I took her hand and put it on my chest. Then Cajun joined me, and I introduced him, and he started to occupy the other girl.
I went straight into A2, but before I could move into A3, she said 'you're not from around here, are you?'. I told her I was only here till Monday. She then said 'do you want to meet me for lunch tomorrow?'. I said 'cool', then gave her my phone and she put her number in. At this point, Tenmagnet came up to Cajun, and they both left. I left too, looking for the students.
I spotted another 2 set, and asked student E to go in with the 'fight' opener. He did. After a few minutes, I joined him, and chatted to the obstacle, who was actually quite pleasant. I saw that the student was getting IOIs from his target. The obstacle left to go to the toilet, and so did I . . . the student got the kiss-close, maybe she was a bit too passionate for his liking!!
The night was coming to a close, Tenmagnet and Cajun did this amazing 4 set of Asian girls at the bar. The reactions were incredible, and Tenmagnet's kino escalation has to be witnessed.
We all left, got a subway sandwich. Tenmagnet, Cajun, Masters and I nearly walked all the way from Picadilly Circus to Kings Cross! Oh, and nearly got into a fight with some chavs on the way!
It was a good night for the students.
