Alright. First, this is not meant as racism or anything.
I'm starting to get really pissed off about gays, lesbians and bi people when im sarging. ******* bull**** what's the big deal about this crap why can't people just be straight? No, i dont want a bisexual gf pisses me off a lot. I can't understand why Mystery would want one either, it's f***** s***.
So what im wondering is what are the reasons except for social conditioning why people are not straight, does anyone have any knowledge on this subject on sexuality?
mystery's S n R value explanation and other tactics/philosophy certainly has no impact or relevance whatsoever to a gay/bi person or people.
What are your thoughts on this?
IM NOT MEANING TO SARGE BS/GAY GIRLS im meaning whats the reason why they are gay they dont need survival value or what? the SnR value philosophy here makes absolutely no sense.

yeah It does man, gays love me as much as the women, hanging out with gay people gives you alot of DHV man.. I find that gay people have the best DHV's and lesbians have a pretty good skill at picking up straight girls! they can even be a pretty big AMoG's

gay guys DOES NOT dhv you! If anything, they drop you as far down in the DLV pit as you can get.
Gay/bi girls got pretty good game, if they're hot (as all ****ing girls have) and can occasionally wing/pivot and maybe dhv you. True, they can be agog.

Not everyone in this world is straight. You could come up with a trillion reasons on why everyone should be, but the reality of it is that they aren't.
You can either sit around and contemplate on how it makes no sense scientifically, and wonder how some guy can want some other guy or how a girl fantasizes about threesomes, or you can just accept that this is the way they are and concentrate on what you want, and I have a feeling what a gay guy or a bi girl wants has no impact on what you want at all.
As a fellow straight man, I can assure you that another man or woman's sexuality has never bothered me one bit, and I am happy for anyone that knows what they truly want and goes for it without feeling any need for judgment from their peers. After all, what makes one man happy doesn't necessarily make another one happy.

First off, while I'm sure there are some social situations and geographic locations where having gay men and women around you can be a DLV (i.e. dogmatic or phobic countries or regions, religions, or "macho" subcultures), a gay wingman or woman can do wonders for you in the majority of the western world.
Secondly, there has not been (at least to my knowledge) any generally accepted conclusive explanation for what makes a person "gay". It is still a very controversial and widely debated social and scientific topic.
Thirdly, you have demonstrated a very closed-minded and uneducated view towards anyone who isn't heterosexual in this thread. A statement like "why can't people just be straight?" is very much akin to statements like "why cant everyone just speak English?", and reveals a very sheltered world-view and a terrible lack of social and cultural intelligence. Note that I'm not saying that you're not intelligent here, merely that you don't know enough about the gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgender community to be making any sort of commentary about it.
As such, I strongly suggest that before you make any more inflammatory statements about this topic, you do some research and learn about it. Get to know some gay/bi/lesbian people, find yourself a gay/lesbian wing and hit the clubs with them. I'm sure the views you expressed here on this thread will turn around completely if you actually take some time and get to know the culture.
This thread has been moved to Fight Club because of it's inflammatory content.

i dont care what i look like or seem like on this board doesn't matter what matters is in field/life. It's alright you moved it to FC board.
So Mystery's S n R rule isn't the be all end all law then (about game and other things)? I just don't figure out the gay/bi thing... because then S n R lacks some content as well as gays/bi and random people don't really care about your S n R... see the importance of this topic?

Well said, Prophet.
winmxfun:
Scientifically, to the best of our knowledge at this point, the cause of homo/bisexuality is due to exposure to certain hormones in the womb. The "normal" balance of hormones in the womb is upset when the mother is under unusual amounts of stress. These hormones will sometimes affect the general development of the body of the infant (often manifesting in subtle ways such as finger lengths that differ from heterosexual norms) but more importantly, these hormones can and do affect the BRAIN of the infant, and the sexual identity they will have as a result.
Statistically, the more stress the mother undergoes, the more likely her child will be homosexual or bisexual, or diverge from "typical" heterosexual traits.
For example, there was a large upsurge in percentage of homosexual males born to women during World War II (most likely due to the extreme stress these women had to deal with).
Want more information? This includes explanations of some scientific studies that point to these conclusions:
http://www.viewzone.com/homosexual.html
One could of course go into a more philosophical discussion of homosexuality etc., but I think this scientific explanation makes a lot of sense and should settle most of the confusion.

Well, I am gonna be nasty here (in a good way) and contradict the books.
Every behavior has a purpose. Everything that is and keeps being is legit.
Let's get technical :
- if evolution was to ALWAYS cancel all possibilities of differences, then it would kill itself.
Evolution is BASED on mistakes and randomness. A typical consequence of this is that genes can "skip" a generation : dormant in you, they can be well awake in your father or mother and children.
What happens if you remove difference from evolution, I did that in a lab, is Gattaca : all members of the species tend to one unique ideal, which ends up being 100% fit for ONE environment at ONE moment. If you then change one single parameter (average temperature for example), you shoot the whole species dead instantly.
...Because it now is "perfectly fit" and won't turn back even if the world crumbles ;) Regression is a part of progression by Darwin's laws.
Because of this, I strongly, very strongly believe that 90% of the population is "potentially bisexual". 90% of the population could adapt, to different degrees, to same sex intercourse, with some enjoying it, and some hating it *AT FIRST*.
While psychology is forced to admit this as true (figures do exist), the specific reason, I have no clue, but the "broader" reason : without difference, you and me and our reproduction system are stuck in time and bound to disappear.

From an evolutionary standpoint, it is theorized that the phenomenon of high stress resulting in higher incidence of homosexuality is one of nature's population control mechanisms. Populations under high amounts of stress will have higher percentages of homosexual individuals, which will in turn lower the rate of population growth, which will often decrease the stress factors on the population, especially if these stress factors were due to overpopulation.
