Do I pay for dinner?

Ok, let's say you got the girl's number and you set up your time bridge on Day 1. Now you're going out together for Day 2 and you go to a restaurant for dinner. Should you pay for dinner?

I'm only talking about a Day 2 here, and possibly a Day 3 if you need more comfort time.

On top of the discussion from the above thread, really consider if you want to do dinner on a Day2. It is a very unoriginal date idea and has a lot of traditional dating subtext that goes along with it, which may very well include the man paying for the woman.

For me it's pretty simple:

INVITE her to dinner = You pay.

While out on a date you both agree that you're hungry = Judgment call

Depending on how things are going it'll either be separate checks (if going poorly) or I'll tell her that I've got dinner and she's got dessert, whether purchased or provided. :D
