they're going after the community in general. I seriously wish the instructors and so forth would say no to any of these type of shows, Mystery, Style, Savoy, Mehow, etc. But exposure = more business whether positive or negative.
Why don't they go over the history of how women use their body and looks to get favors. Makes you wonder.

Well as long as I draw breath I will remain a devout PUA. A AFC lifestyle can suck my nuts

The problem most of these people have is that they don't understand the community. They think it's all about deceit and manipulation of women by mysoginists. If the instructors and all of those getting the publicity would use it to promote a better understanding of the life rather than to promote a product, we'd ALL be better off.

Dr. Phil is a Man-traitor!:p
Actually if you read his past police reports hes considered a scam artist. He has no recognition for are community other then to assault it and who better to help? Savoy

Here is Style's response from last year:
I wanted to share some thoughts on an
experience I recently had.
I received a call from two producers on the Dr.
Phil show. They wanted me to come on and
discuss The Game and the community with
Dr. Phil.
However, the more I talked to them, the
more it seemed like a set-up. So I declined.
Instead, they got two of the people in The
Game to participate.
And they did a few sneaky things, according to
those who were on the show:
1. They filmed some guys sarging, but planted
women with secret cameras in the club.
2. They didn't tell one of the PUAs that another
guru was going to be on the show, then they
encouraged the guru to be adversarial. The
result was a PUA slugfest that sounded like a bad
day at Project Hollywood.
3. They brought out a woman at the end of the
show who'd been hurt by a man who was NOT in
the community to confront these guys.
The working title of the segment: WOMEN, BEWARE!
This information just broke my heart. It really infuriates
me.
When I wrote The Game and went on to do the press, I
told myself that I would neither DEFEND nor ATTACK the
seduction community. I'd simply present the truth as it was,
the good and the bad.
However, the more interviews I did, the more I realized I
was going to have to defend something: The right of guys
to learn this.
Anyone who's ever seen the front page of Cosmopolitan
or Sex in the City knows that self-help, sexual improvement,
dating advice, and attraction skills is an accepted rite of
passage for women.
There is no equivalent for men: We are simply shown images
of women we are supposed to desire in the pages of Maxim
and Playboy, then not told what to do about it.
People get tutored for everything else in life. If you can't do
math, you get a tutor. Sex in the City was women getting tutored
in what to do with different types of men. I think the coolest thing
someone could do is recognize their weakness and work to
improve it.
When guys ask me questions, it's usually not about what to do
to trick a woman into bed -- it's about how to get over heart-
break, whether Alexander Technique will improve their posture,
whether improv classes will make them more spontaneous,
what to do about "this one special girl," how to dress, and so on.
Though some of the "gurus" may have their issues, 99.9 percent
of the guys I met learning this are the NICE GUYS. They are the
guys women always say they are looking for, yet at the same
time are never attracted to.
Usually, the true assholes, jerks, and misogynists are too
cocky and arrogant to even consider that they might need
to "learn" how to interact with women.
So anyone who's going to get on a bully pulpit and demonize
men for trying to improve themselves is not a friend of mine.
And any pundit who's going to criticize men for manipulation
when that's exactly what their show producers regularly do to
their guests is not a friend of mine.
The community may have its problems -- especially for those
who get sucked too deeply into it, as I did -- but there's nothing
wrong with learning social skills, if you're learning from the
RIGHT teachers.
The real victims in my experience were not women. The
victims I witnessed, the people I saw hurt by the game, were
only men. Because the game is a forking path: there's a light
side and a dark side, and some get lost in the dark side and
lose themselves -- in addition to creeping out the very women
they're trying to attract.
As a writer, I understand the temptation members of the
media feel to create an obvious sensationalism piece. But
it's far better to do the research and find the REALITY of a
situation -- and it makes a better story. Because the reality
is often never obvious. Sometimes it's the last thing you'd
ever expect. That's what most of my books are about.
I realize this email is sort of a rant, and perhaps I'm
even preaching to the converted, but I had to get it
off my chest. There are some 42,000 of you on this
list. Some of you are in positions of influence or
respect -- whether on campus, in the media, at home,
at work, or in a community.
Let's do our best to counter small-mindedness and social
pressure designed to hold US back because of someone
ELSE'S fear wherever we hear it. Whether it's about learning
the game, a personal attack against you, or something else
you care about, don't take the bait and get defensive. All you
have to do is speak the truth. It's the best weapon you have,
and so sharp that no one can ever bend it if you wield it
properly -- without fear or insecurity.
And that's one to grow on,
Neil

I was more referring to men. I should of said that.
Since guys aren't watching it, why would they make profit? Only guys I know who watch the show are literally gay friends (and there's only 2 that I have).

My mother is obsessed with Oprah and Dr. Phil. It disgusts me.
How many young attractive women actually watch it? I associate Dr. Phil with middle-aged idiots who spend half the day in bed watching TV and the other half shopping.
Hmmm, new conversation topic... let's hope I don't get "oh he's asking us for our OPINION, he must be a player---no way he could really care about what we think!"
I heard it's Nick Savoy and Some Crony vs. Ross Jeffries, and Ross creamed them... saltily. Guys like Mystery and Ross are brilliant and train other guys to bring out their own best selves; Savoy is just not on their level. Ross has a lot more talkshow experience, anyway. I would love to see Ross use NLP successfully on Dr. Phil himself. Ross: "Blah blah blah blah blah" Dr. Phil: Deer-in-headlights quasi-meditative look Ross: "Now SLEEP!... no, ... SHUT UP!" ---and then a miracle occurs.

a lot of mid twenty to mid 40's MILF watch it. About on par with the young and attractive but airheaded young women who spend their time watching MTV Real World and that other shit.
The bottom line is women love that self help, self reflective and opinionated stuff just like they love soap operas. If a lot of people don't see it they really don't understand women on an emotional level. And yet they wonder why guys watch G4, SPIKE TV, the NCAA tourney and so forth.

That shits jewish.. (no offense.. inside joke after watching southpark) women love what we do.. we give them something no other guy can, pleasure, thrills and emotional exitment. fuck man.. if i was a chick, i'd be honored.. on the flip side.. guys going to such great lenghts to make their dicks exicted. I personally dont game for sex, but for social connections and possible people i could make a difference for one day.. only 1 out of 13 of the girls i game i take to my bedroom then call them back for sushi.. haha

middle aged mediocore fucks who never had an exicting youth who retired to the suburbs to be brain washed my societal morals that only keep them from achieving their desires because they eat too much fast food and are duped by the powers of advertising and the entertainment industry to tell them how to think... but respect to those middle aged suburban guys and gals that havent died inside yet..

The comcast info for the show says:
"Seduction techniques (both abusive and appropriate) are assessed. Guests include Ross Jeffries, creator of "Speed Seduction."
This should be interesting.

Down with the heathan
What ridiculous blasphemy did RJ just spew?
The show was going pretty well, neutral at
worse, until he showed up. He seemed bitter
and completely thrashed all the PUAs out there.
And the CREATOR of the seduction community?
HAH! If not Mystery, then it was David D. who
started everything. Wow...just...wow.
I have lost all respect for Ross Jeffries. wow...

actually Ross Jeffries is one of the pioneers of the community, David D was his student. But Weber came before all those guys.
Ross is by far the most obnoxious though. He needs to get over the fact that other companies are out there.

He's not a pioneer at all. You think he developed NLP? You think he was the first to use it on women or other social settings? He's the "Self-Proclaimed" Father of the Seduction community, but more like a "Bitter Old Fart" who's mad that others were 100 times more successful than his creepy ass.

he's the first to coin the idea just like Mystery is the first to coin his idea even though other came before him. Its a similar metaphor to the West Coast Offense. Bill Walsh didn't necessarily invent it all on his own but he made it what it was. Ross made SS what it is today. People were doing Cocky-Funny before David D. People were doing attraction routines before Mystery but those guys gave it that extra dose to bring it to the forefront.

Wow Neil DHVED from that post I almost felt a tear coming.
I have to agree with you on this one...Style's books really got me into Mystery Method and the community about 2 years ago...It's amazing to me how hostile the rest of the world still is the us...to PUAs accross the globe.
My parents didn't prepare me socially.
My books didn't prepare me.
My family.
My friends.
My teachers.
My psychologist.
I had a mental complex that forced me to idolize women. And you know who saved me??? This community. Not Dr. Phil. Not my Dr. (she was effing feminist...she ENCOURAGED the disease my parents payed her to treat...).
If he understood how many potential serial killers and abusive husbands are rehabilitated by the seduction community...I doubt that the rest of the world would loathe us so.
Stay proud. The Afcs will hate you for your strength. We forge the new path.
